Ryudrake Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Oh really? I thought i tried that. Must've put the input wrong somehow...well thanks for the help. Are there any other hidden moves/changes for her? The only change i noticed was that "sword of decimation" pops out of the ground instead of a sword slash.
choysauce Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 when does anyone here fish for the 6C FC?? i'm pretty sure u never wanna use it during a neutral situation since everyone can just airdash over it. but when is it a good time to frame trap or just tag them with it besides punishing slow or whiffed moves?
Devdan Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Use it on really bad Hakumen players who thoughtlessly air dash 2C all the time.
FlyingVe Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 6C can FC on reaction: Jin's Ice Hadoken Lambda's Spike and Sickle chaser Haku spamming 4C Rachel doing stuff Mu stiening Recovery on Tager's Charge You can also use it to punish blocked/wiffed DP's
Ginseng Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 632146A is the distortion you're thinking of. You're dumb. Distortions for A attacks do not exist for mu.
Big Red Tie Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 You're dumb. Distortions for A attacks do not exist for mu. are you sure this is the case for unlimited mu? these changes aren't in the list.
Zeromus_X Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Pretty sure that her Unl. form "Gamma Ray" distortion is 632146A...unless Ginseng is trollin'.
Senovit Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Clear case of "let me click the last page of this thread with new posts and then comment on it."
Voidddd Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 another good time to get a 6C FC is if you think your opponent is going to dp on wakeup, backdash it then 6C free 7k :D
Ryudrake Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Yeah tested it out. It really is 632146A. Thanks guys
gli Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Lately I've been doing a string of SoD's in the corner at a certain safe distance. How effective do you think this tactic is? I change up the charge times to throw off how they tech but I'm sure there is an easy way out of this "spam". I got a couple of clutch guard breaks from this.
FlyingVe Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Certain characters deal with SoD better than others. Rachel is particularly vulnerable to this tactic as not even her supers or CA can truly counter the move. If your reactions are good you can even stop rolls. Never do this to Ragna, Makoto, Tsubaki, Bang or Hakumen. Ragna and Tsubaki can use IBing to great effect against the spam. Makoto has BBS/parry to screw up everything you do, Hakumen can counter the predictable release of the sword (you might be able to space out the counter), and bang has many, many options (as always).
xBroken eclipse Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Sorta looking for a bigger version of this picture, Anyone have it or know where I can look? =] http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/1368/mu12charactersexygamear.png
GenoWhirl Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hzoy9pxN7A#t=4m05s Is Mu's 5C faster?
Silfer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 It does seem a bit faster....also, I might be crazy, but it looks a bit shorter?
Aginor Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Mu really needed a faster 5c more than range imo. Good stuff to know!
FlyingVe Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 For my money, everything Mu did in that clip looked a smidgen faster, but its tough to tell without actually playing.
Halcyone3 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 For my money, everything Mu did in that clip looked a smidgen faster, but its tough to tell without actually playing. there's also the probability it may just be the video. specially if all her moves looked faster. We can't rly tell until we get some comments from the people actually playing it, would be hella nice if they rly were faster though
FlyingVe Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Yeah YouTube always makes things seem faster (everyone thought Rag's 6A and 5C were faster for the longest time). She really needs a faster 5C (you get hit out of it way to much). The biggest change I want though is give her 5B a straight hitbox. It's too hard to tell when that move will and won't wiff on a croucher.
Aginor Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 5b whiffs on crouchers at max range pretty much. You have to be like within 50-75% of it's max range for it to hit crouchers. Exception would be Litchi and anybody else that has a really low crouching hitbox. It'll probably whiff during makoto's and noel's 3c completely.
FlyingVe Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Yeah, my problem is that, because of the animation, it will wiff, and look like it should hit. I just want the hitbox and the animation to match.
Blade Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Anyone got any tips on dealing with Laser Spam. I mean...it's one thing to use it for oki...it's another to use it as a wall to keep an opponent from getting in (they don't even bother to combo with it, 2 hits at most). And even if I do get in, I get hit with her 3C>2B>5C>6C > Mirror DD or 6B mixup...just not really fun at all across the board (even Arakune has a tough time getting through).
