shodokan123 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 i was looking through his vids yesterday and watching slayer combos in them... and poof... banned... sux for him... and us.
Van Buren Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 yeah man. Same here... I pm'd him about it but he hasnt gotten back to me yet. Maybe he'll post here as to why this happened? And if he'll be getting his account back. I noticed his videos seem to still be ont youtube, just the convienence of using his account to browse his massive library is gone. Let us all join in prayer for our prolific friend, Burningvigor. [EDIT: I'm not sure of the definition for youtube's terminology, but it said, "Account Suspended". Not banned, or deleted or whatever... so maybe theres still hope?]
Climhazzardous Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I hate youtube. That guy put so much effort and time into uploading vids and youtube where gay enough to bang him over.
Van Buren Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 last I saw he had over 3,500 videos uploaded...
Jocelot Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This really does suck. I have three playlists for heated gg matches on youtube, now more then 75 percent of the videos in them are gone. Why did they ban burningvigor anyways? Godammit. Youtube sucks...
Shinjin Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 because he posted the SBO-vids probably. his own fault.
Shinobi! Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Shinjin, everyone else did the same thing. There is something more going on with his account being suspended. Oh well, there's always flimzee...
burningvigor Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Nah it got suspended cause of a random south park clip a friend uploaded. That account was shared between with 3 other people who uploaded vids. I guess youtube didnt really like all those vids in the first place to take it all down from a south park clip. Guess I cant upload on youtube while working anymore . Was perfect to since I could do paperwork and upload at ease here. stupid youtube Just realized today.. open hotmail Bam suspended cause of "Smug Alert South park" Viacom something something action. Banned terms of agreement. email banned no account lala. Cleared out some space for them I guess Shit now I gotta dl when I get home to watch vids.. was easier to upload and watch at home :8/:
Spirit Juice Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 You can't contest the suspension? Kind of harsh that they didn't even give you a warning since everything you uploaded was perfectly legal to my knowledge. :o
burningvigor Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I seriously think they didnt like me uploading too many vids so they looked for something to ban the account. So bleh not gonna use youtube since they are assholes. Thanks for the offer matt and uhh ranbat still on today?
Van Buren Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Fuck. So theres no chance to get your account unsuspended? The videos are still on youtube to my knowledge... its only when I try to access your channel am I given any shit.
Badguy Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 man that really sucks burningvigor =( there's still my account (flimzee00) but i usually dont take the time to upload match vids plus ur account was like an archive for more then just guilty gear, MANY of my playlists or favorites were pretty much from ur profile alone =( this is a sad day indeed as for as i know about gettin your account back its pretty much impossible, same thing happened to a friend of mine and struggled and begged but it didnt happen. youtube are true assholes though, they should at least give you a warning or just remove the video that is violating their policy, not remove an entire account with no warning or anything.
Incendia Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Hey much thanks to you both for all the uploads. Its a sad thing they banned but oh well. Thanks anyways for everything so far :D
Ethereal S Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Indeed YouTube tends to take down things a lot lately, but normally they would only do so for those particular vids not like suspending the entire account... :/ Still blaming all to Youtube is not completely correct. It's all started because those asshat companies don't like what you uploaded in public (in your case would be Viacom). Most CMs featuring some famous J-pop artists, e.g. JDA, Ayumi, etc, have been taken down due to the request from Avex Entertainment even though those vids indirectly promoted the artists.

Cleared out some space for them I guess Shit now I gotta dl when I get home to watch vids.. was easier to upload and watch at home :8/: Dammit youtube A other great account getting banned for such a lillte mistake. and they didn't give you a chance to undo it i hope you can get it back.. sunny out PS: Offtopic:MMORPG's are overrated Indeed YouTube tends to take down things a lot lately, but normally they would only do so for those particular vids not like suspending the entire account... :/ Still blaming all to Youtube is not completely correct. Most CMs featuring some famous J-pop artists, e.g. JDA, Ayumi, etc, have been taken down due to the request from Avex Entertainment even though those vids indirectly promoted the artists. i understand what you are trying to say here. still i got one question floating in my head: Did you notice there is a shitload of "world of warcraft" (a MMORPG ) videos running around on Youtube complete with the full songs of the artists, and the accounts that upload that stuff, never ever get banned... My geuss is, that certain companies that have a massvie amouts of money (blizzard entetaiment for intance) never seen to care about what people upload on youtube, But other companies who kinda get paranoid about certain things that happen on youtube, and deepy feared a big lost of money when people can listen and see things without paying anything, that are the big annonace on youtube. And you know that fear is a bad advicer. Last time in holland , my county, there was a huge disscussion about downloading and uploading stuff, without paying for it. and there where certain dutch artists who where pretty piss off about the controll freak mentally and greed that rules the record/video companies, because they claim, that those companies have make the big mistake to make everything soo bloody expensvie. believe me or not, but 40-60% of the price you pay for a 10+ track CD all does to the record company, and not towards the artists. Record companies claim, they are doing this for the artist, but TBH, they only do this, to save thier own skins. So in the end... it is all about the money...
AlterGenesis Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Once Youtube suspends your account the first time, the drive to post up videos again seems to disappear. Seriously. =(
YuKyo Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 it truly sux that the accnt is banned, i missed his d-end slash vid too! does any1 know what the 2 songs were in his combo video?

Good thing some companies including those that publish Iron Maiden material don't whine(yet):P
Daimao Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Let's all hope flimzee00 doesn't suffer the same fate.
