Also if i might add, make sure you try to input the 96 during the hitstop. You can go "too fast"; if you hit 9 before the hitstop, you will get nothing at all.

You said something, I made a comment for "why", you made your point, and I tried to explain my point. I feel like I've had the same conversation with dacid about some stupid shit before and how I was apparently "mad" or "serious" at him, it's the internet, don't get so defensive about stuff.

The guy was able to play on the cabs at SNCI without paying the venue fee, only because he asked to use the bathroom when he entered and went straight to playing after.

That's the trick, told Myung I ran outta money shelling out cash for Don's meals and asked him if there was any other way to pay him. Long story short, we spend five minutes in the restroom, I no pay venue fee...everyone wins.

What this will do is clue you in on MANY of the most important things you are missing, instead of just some. So what I would recommend is watching any video (Preferably MANY) from Dora or Nezu, and then asking questions about it here, instead of having people critique your play. EDIT: There is also a wealth of information already existing in this board, so I would suggest doing as much research as you can. Best of luck! Edited May 11, 2012 by Dacidbro

I just wanted to suggest that you watch a small sample of other players playing and focus more on just playing. There is no clearer understanding than learning organically. Trust me a lot of the methods you will learn in the videos you will come to learn by just playing (except maybe combos) and will have a much better grasp of it than watching it in a vid.
