yea i saw the 214D~A knock them down to the ground too...interesting...n also after that it shows platinum being hit up by 5C in which i can guess platinum must have a pretty big hit box?

If it knocks down, maybe 3C > 214D~A > 2B > 5C > 2C > 4D > air combo could be possible if 214D~A doesn't push them too far...

I don't think it will be possible to do j.Cx2 > jc > j.Cx5

It's only 2 hits, I think Haz will not drop down enough so next jc into j.Cx5 will miss.

so far i think all nerfs make sense besides 3C>214DC

he was pretty broken back in CS1

i think 3C>623D combos for many characters, didn't get enough time to try that in the vid

for the anti-air, 2C>C>4D~ works so not really a big issue

throw can still combo into jayoku in the corner and most characters got nerfed in mid-screen so its alright

What made Hazama good was not included in the changes they did, imo.

No really, j.A not j.c, why? What was broken about that?

If they thought j.Cx 10 gave too much Heat, why not simply nerf the Heat gained from it? Now they nerf the Heat AND damage on a vast majority of Haz's combos.

The strange nerf to 214D~C is odd as well (to pull in, only float now), making 66>5C pretty much mandatory (should certain combos or whatever still function). Why change this?

Making vanilla throw worthless (800 dmg throw w. no followup apart from in the corner with 50% Heat, really?), no point in not doing 236C over a normal throw at all now and j.B+C is laughable.

A bunch of changes don't make much sense. We'll see how he turns out after all the tweaks, but I just don't see the point of most of the current changes.

I'm sorry, what? They made A canceling chains faster, but harder to combo with?

Uh sorry for making a confusion. I missed several things about Ouroboros. Here are the extra changes I missed from my previous list with some revisions.

- Ouroboros: Speed is increased. D ~ A cancel is faster now. Hitstun of all Ouroboros (far version) is significantly decreased. It's the reason why 6DA - 6DA - 6D is harder now. You need more time to recover Ouroboros gauge than CS1.

- Air throw: makes opponent ground bound, you can do follow up combo.

- Back throw: you can do follow up combo with J6D for all characters, but you can only follow up with jayoku after J6D.

- 214DA (Ressenga): You can't do follow up combo with ground hit for lvl 1 version even if it's crouching hit. Only lvl 2 version can do follow up combo.

I am calm, what made you think otherwise? And I already said some pages back that "it's just a loketest".

You said that the current changes "make sense", which they really don't i.m.o. The changes are not just limited to Hazama, mind you, but several characters have recieved odd changes. Some characters even got pointless changes. Like with Tager they changed his Voltic Charge move input from B to D.

And what's the point of making throws useless? Risk a throw for 800 dmg or continue mix/cross up for almost 3k damage and more heat? The changes don't make sense, that's just it.

You can do 4DD > JB > JCx2 > jc > JCx5 > j214B instead.

You're overgeneralizing. They made such broad moves that it affected those elements, sure. But the actual moves that needed tweaking were not tweaked.

Example, what was so amazing with j.c j.A? Or why some of the other strange changes?

Why did Hazama need a jump cancelable A? ALL of Hazama's air moves are JCable. Why the fuck does he need this? They took it away either cause they didn't want Hazama to be able to do EVERYTHING ( which he does now ) or cause.. It's ArcSys and it's their fucking game and they can do whatever they want.

No I'm not overgeneralizing anything. I'm condensing why he's good cause I don't wanna type up all that shit again which you already argued against in the past.

Also the fact that you're arguing with StunEdge, probably the best player in the US when he lived here, who qualed for SBO, about balance is seriously funny.

Why shouldn't it be D instead of B?

I beat his Jin/fresh Haz when he came to SoCal.

But eventhough he was here for one weekend, he was/still is the best Haz in SoCal imo.
