psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 turtling is watching, undestanding your opponent, his/her habits, how they act under haku pressure, Ibing, blocking, breaking them second by second, learning what they know and using it against them, making them desperate, making them work more than they should, then countering their next attack into big damage. haku is turtling, turtling is patience and understanding. not mashing out block strings like the rest of the cast, n ppl who get mad because "his D is broken" or "he scared to attack" >_> its called "thinking" this post was logical hense it isnt. @sprectre reading is for fags. combos are for fags, mixup is for fags, mashing is for fags, BB is balanced and posting reasons why ppl hate the game, and other ppl changes nothing. logic is for fags.
Emerald Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 So they already have changese for Valkenhayn? With Valkenhayn coming in so late for the 360, is there really a point to learning the character when there's already gonna be changes for him? I don't see why not. You just have to be ready to relearn some of his stuff. Besides, this isn't final changes. I expect a revert personally on all the 3c techable changes.
Edge Reaper Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I hope that's the case. I have no idea what the changes mean to him, so I'm just hoping they're small enough that learning around them is possible...But that's a long list....
Mightfo Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Mu is dead. Makoto is dead. Jin is stupid. Lambda sounds interesting... nobody cares, chicken little learn about loketests before you babble about other people being idiots
Synthesis Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I'm quite aware as to what a loketest is. As of this loketest, they are dead. And you are?
LordSpectreX Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 He's Mightfo. It's says people's names above their avatar. Oh, and welcome to dustloop.
ToastCrust Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Zoning is watching; it is to undesrtand your opponent, his/her habits, and how they act under sword pressure; It is IBing, blocking, breaking them second by second, learning what they know and using it against them. It is making them desperate; it is making them work more than they should and then intercepting their next attack into big damage. Lambda is zoning; zoning is patience and understanding, not mashing out block strings like the rest of the cast, and people who get mad because "her D is broken" or "she scared to attack" >_> I'll leave out that last line though, since that'd be a controversial statement. :d Prettied up the grammar too.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 i hate you...;_; I have been here for years. wtf? its called sarcasm.
Synthesis Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 its called sarcasm. I realize, but what is with these new people acting like they're hot shit without warrant? Just something I've noticed. Also, LordSpectre. No offense meant with that post. Intonation/implication is lost through text.
mAc Chaos Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 @_@ You mean... again? They already did that in the 2nd loketest.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 they should jus nerf his damage output, make his shit free and call it a day.
Blade Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Can anyone tell me if the changes made to Jin's 623C make it any easier to combo from midscreen without having to dash-prime 5B?
mAc Chaos Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 they should jus nerf his damage output, make his shit free and call it a day. Nooo, I like using stars. You have to be strategic with your moves.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nooo, I like using stars. You have to be strategic with your moves. yeah but when ou almost never get to use more than 2-3 stars a fight its kinda... Jin + 6A can't be punished (unless you IB). Will combo into 5C on CH. + 623C has more untech time, unairtechable from a ground hit. Can still combo. + Less proration on forward throw's third hit. - 5C has less range. - 2D is slower. - More proration on back throw.. for blade.
Leaf Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 You call people idiots and yet you're calling Jin stupid. Unless you were trying to be ironic. thank you
bakahyl Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Mu is dead. Disagreeing on that, she has lost one of her most important bnb in exchange for a possibly new one with 2c 6c. Combined with the no proration on guard break, she can do very nice damage.
Edge Reaper Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Aksys is hating on them stars...I see a lot of 6A > 6B spam in my future. They really want us to think about what we're doing with that meter.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 lol with what meter? it got nerfed 3x times now. it can only get so slow before we almost need to ignore it. n spam our infinite C strings.
Edge Reaper Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The meter is still there! Just at an Unlimited Character gain rate (not unlimited Haku obviously). But if they're killing it that bad, make 5C an overhead, and all will be forgiven. You know, just give us an overhead C attack and all will be forgiven.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The meter is still there! Just at an Unlimited Character gain rate (not unlimited Haku obviously). But if they're killing it that bad, make 5C an overhead, and all will be forgiven. You know, just give us a fast standing overhead C attack and all will be forgiven. fixed. j2C is ew...
Edge Reaper Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 But I thought all C attacks were getting faster.
psycofang2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 yes with infinite C block strings in effects. but theres a chance they'll say "lol we made his old stuff faster let his over head have 34 frames of start up" and then ill be sad...
