Yggjrasil Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Has anyone heard/seen Platinums Unlimited mode lately , because i was really wondering "Hmm if Luna/Sena are in Neutral mode , would Platinum talk in Unlimited" . I wonder if that would be true , because personally i love Platinum The Trinity more then Luna/Sena . Her voice is so much more calm , and reminds me of Victorque (GOSICK) . Only in my wettest dreams :PL: . Thats because Yuuki Aoi does her voice along with Platinum the Trinity and Kaname Madoka from Puella Magi Madoka Magika.

Off-topic... Image... How can Kaqn live with himself after this? What a horrible person. He didn't even let himself get asstrolled at the end like in all his other videos of late =P Hopefully BBCS2 on PSP will only use as much memory as CT did, as that one was just barely workable with remotejoylite after a little tinkering. It would be nice if they didn't mess with the command interpreter the way they did with CT too, even if that would render it almost completely unplayable on the PSP d-pad (I remember 2X > 6X always became 2X > 236X). Ah well, only time will tell with that. Bah, it's no use!

Ah well, only time will tell with that. Yeah, I tried RJL with CT and it wasn't rolling so well. Also noticed the 2X > 236X, it's pretty annoying but possible to get around. If RJL doesn't work as planned Motion Joy should work as a controller replacement, and if you have a PSP-2000 (unless they came out with a PSP-3000 model, or the 2000 ones work for both), you can get PSP component cables and roll with that.
dummyacct7 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 PSP 2000's and Go's (will the game even have a digital release?) might actually be able to run it without issue on RJL since some of the custom firmwares claim to increase memory capacity, and if RJL uses that new memory space, I can't imagine any game going beyond the normal capacity of a PSP. But I'm not really sure on that, seeing how I'm running an old 1000 model that definitely doesn't have that capability. All you can do with the 1k's is push the memory space that RJL uses forward so that the game has a little more to work with, and hope that it's enough.

My 1000 froze up every time I tried to enter the character select with RJL. Motion Joy might be the way to go for 1000 models, but we'll see. Also: Kaqn playing Platinum. My dreams fulfilled.

Cirno Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Because in a single match, where he was fighting hima, he did not "body" him, he should instead not use an alt that he has probably less than 120 total plays with, but instead stick to his main, because he has a much higher chance of winning with them. ＦｕｎＷｉｔｈＣｏｍｍａｓ™ But seriously. If Kaqn sticks to subbing Platinum it'll be good for everyone. ( ´∀`)

I just don't want to see another one of my favorite character's image spoiled because of 1000s of band-wagoners using a character just becuase they saw x player using them. (Seriously, people really hate CS1 Ragna) I don't have a problem with Kaqn using Platinum at all, I encourage it...I just hate how some people are going to follow suit.

She had the parry loop which made her an even more awesome character than she is now, but then as soon as they removed it, a bunch of people dropped her. Those followers are only going to play Platinum because they saw Kaqn use her, then they'll realize that she's not very beginner friendly and they're probably just going to drop her, which makes me very upset. EDIT: Maybe, I just over-thinking this. but I do hate that people don't really respect a character for their aspects but rather for their popularity. Edited March 14, 2011 by Yggjrasil

I'm only going to main Platinum because of her style and her gameplay, Makoto I will have to drop just cause people are going to hop back on her cause she's god tier now. plus I don't think you are over-thinking, people are like that
Cirno Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 First of all, I'd personally risk Kaqn subbing Platinum and her gaining a bit more popularity, if it meant gaining a better "role-model" for her. Secondly, how is popularity even an issue? Even if Kaqn could gain enough popularity for her to be used a bit more than she would have, that isn't going to get someone to stay to a character. Try them out, maybe, but if they aren't fond of her, they won't stick. Unless you are expecting them to become fond of her, which in that case, is quite alright. Platinum will never be "overused", she's a fun character, and I'm not too worried about losing "Unique Snowflake" status. ┐(¯ε¯ )┌

While lots may drop her in the end, at least they tried her out. Just because Kaqn uses her and thousands of people pick her up just because of that, but still drop her, it will still only help the character grow.
