there weren't any reported nerfs to yukikaze besides its normal damage being lowered (to give its full damage to OD version i suppose)

Yukikaze only got buffed (again), it still does 3.8k, but does approx 4k during OD. The buff is attributed to it's projectile superfreeze time increasing while he continues to move. This means moves like death spike and nu's 5d could get them clipped by Hakumen's yukikaze.

Its not like you can get Yuki'd halfway across the screen.

Not if you're Hazama. Also, Amane's C normals are all Yukikaze feed too.

To be fair, Yukikaze has been buffed several times because it started off as a really shit move.

CT: Only counters high and mid, superflash gives it away and opponents time to RC, 6D's cost/benefit ratio is better. Sucks against projectiles since they can always jump to evade (or Haku gets CH if its a foot projectile, lol).

CS1: Same as above, now counters lows. Cost/benefit is MUCH worse since you can get ~4K from 6D for only two stars without the drawback of the superflash heads up. Sucks against projectiles for reason above

CS2: No flash until after catch, counters high and low, still too expensive overall considering you needed every star you could get in CS2 and gambling four of them was a pretty big risk. Sucks against projectiles for reason above

CSE: Finally kinda worth it sometimes, but STILL crappy for countering projectiles--if you're up close, 6D is still going to be better against proj. since it's guaranteed to hit

Buffing Yuki is more than fair since they destroyed 6D. Now you're forced to use it in those situations--not because it's better (outside of very slightly faster startup), but because 6D is now literally unusable in such scenarios.

Buffing Yukikaze is merely a consolation prize.

Yukikaze has never really felt worth while to use, other than being the "BACK THE FUCK OFF NIGGA!! :<" super. It's not something you generally want to just throw out. So them buffing it pretty much everygame makes sense. And it's also the reason it's damage wasn't nerfed unlike most supers across the board, including shippu (kinda). It doesn't get a huge damage buff during OD, and still does the same damage as before with better activation.

Now in OD you just look WAY more badass landing yukikaze than usual.

Btw random question, but I'm sure most of us spend an unusual time on computers and the like.

Does anyone know how to completely remove "browser hijackers" off one's computer. I've been trying to do this all day. Normally if I get a virus (which is rare), I don't have a hard time removing it. but every program I've used after I open my internet browser (chrome, mozilla, i. explorer), I still end up at "startsear.info" as my homepage and I can't get rid of it and nor can I go to a system restore of a previous date. :(

Anyone have any tips?

As in REformat my computer?

Reformat is the most powerful, most desperate last resort.

Do windows key+r and type "msconfig" then go to "Startup" and look for any suspicious entries

this is going to get complicated but what is it doing exactly?

i get quite a few viruses frequently and i can get rid of them without virus blockers (they are all shitty anyway)

explain what all it does and i can try to walk you through it, oh also tell me what pc you are using.

Tried that, it just turns back on when I restart my computer.

^Can't get rid of it completely.

So after you remove the virus, it just fucks with your browser.

^Macintosh Chaos?

I only have a minute so here's the super abbreviated guide:

1. Download, install, and run Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Spybot Search & Destroy with latest updates/definitions. MSE is free and the best AV available, period. MBAM costs money, but they offer a free 30 day trial (or you can strap on your eyepatch and peg leg). Spybot is free and amazing, and it's good to run after MBAM since it can pick up things MBAM missed (and vice versa).

2. If the virus is not removed, reboot in safe mode and repeat step 1.

3. If that doesn't work, Google the specific virus you're having trouble with + "removal." Follow instructions and keep an eye out for specific removal tools, which are sometimes available for especially nasty viruses or ones standard AVs have trouble getting rid of.

4. If that doesn't work, perform a "dirty install" of Windows. It's similar to a reformat, but it only reinstalls the OS, so you keep your other files.

5. If that doesn't work, reformat as a last resort. This is essentially a tactical nuke and WILL work unless you have a hardware problem.

Good luck.

I used to have Windows also installed on my Mac since they can run both now, but it would get a virus so often that I'd have to reformat like every week. And I wouldn't even really use it for anything except playing like one game, so there's no reason for it to even get viruses.

It's like hitting the ON button would just start downloading a virus.

The anti-virus programs probably install the viruses themselves.

I don't get viruses on my Windows machine. You guys obviously don't know how to use Windows.

It's like people who complain about all of these viruses legitimately think they are the "1,000,000th" visitor to what ever site is trying to them to click popups (since they don't have the sense to install Adblock lol).

NoScript (or an equivalent) is also important. Takes a while to get used to but browsing would be more safe. But like the poster above said, common sense prevents alot of problems.

The problem with Windows is that it is bad design. To avoid getting a virus or doing half the stuff you need to do, there are a million intermediate steps to follow that nobody would know at first glance without studying it like some sort of arcane text. I mean, just trying to figure out what the IP address of my computer at work was once ended up being a huge wild goose chase. And I know how to use it, anyway. :P I am a computer science major lol. It's from the perspective of somebody designing something that I look at it and I'm like "Why would anyone do this." It's like building a house with the front door on the second floor instead of the first.

you all suck, i get viruses almost everyday and i get rid of them 10 minutes or less on windows.

also some anti virus programs actually install viruses into your computer.

also windows may send you a virus as well.

i had the FBI virus, browser hijacker like 6-8 times, hundreds of trojans, malware, adware, something called moboGhv (slows your comp to hell).

you are all soft.
