i feel like makoto's dash speed nerf and hakumen's movement buff and his meter gain buff would make aspects of neutral significantly more difficult for makoto. getting the superior positioning will be harder for her than before, agito will help beat her 6a, and more availability of hakuspecials may make some ranges/situations significantly more risky for makoto.

haku's capacity to sometimes kill in two combos also helps.

I haven't really taken big combos off 3c in EX. Maybe they are out there but I haven't seen them.

But in CP it seems like 3c CH goes to like 5k every time so I can't see using makoto's 3c like ever. Makoto has a bit of other stuff in CP too I guess. I haven't even really thought about CP TBH. games probably half a year away.

Pretty much use the same shit but risk reward is against you instead of in your favor I guess. Still seems like it'd be a bit different because you wouldn't want to use her unique tools as much now (Parry, J2C, 3C, asteroid) but the bread and butter is the same (normal moves, footsies).

But I guess I still thought that the neutral wasn't so much in Makoto's favor as it was just the damage, risk reward.

Actually her damage wasn't the deal maker, she does the same damage on average.

Asteroid B had it place for avoiding and punishing Haku's 3C if done once in range, still could be use but leaves you more aerial.

Her dash nerf affects mostly the little thing she could abuse, like closing the distance after a blocked 5A(+2) and of course her 5B which used to be kinda safe to toss out there.

The risk/reward on 6C is still rather good, at minimum you still get corner push.

If it's not damage what changes it from 6-4 to 4.5 -5.5

Comet cannon wasn't usable in the first place against hakumen, can't be that.

5b nerf? I didn't think dash was nerfed between CS2 and EX

I was talking from CS2 to EX in my last post, what makes the change from even to 5.5 against us is that Hakumen has gotta that much better overall.

Just for pointing out why it was 6:4 in Makoto favor in CS1, 3-10k damage +full screen corner carry off just about anything does that (anti air parry without follow up was 6k from 0 meter for an example).

Well at least my instincts were on the mark. Makoto in CS1 felt like fighting Hazama or Mu. You get nipped once by random mash and it's over.
