Just to add, while her normals are pretty lackluster compared to others, they are still an important part of her gameplay that you shouldn't ignore.

Yeah, because you need them sometimes during combos, and against an opponent that isn't just hitting buttons.

However for standard low level netplay, I have yet to find a use for them :P

But seriously though, don't just D without reason or purpose, just because her drives are her best moves doesn't mean they are GOOD moves, spacing and knowing how to RTSD correctly are very importants and you will get blown up if you don't know them. Also, a Noel's skill level is not in the length of their Haida, but in the girth of their knowledge.

Thanks guys!

Yeah I don't plan to just hit buttons, I am really trying hard to learn what Hexanoid sent me and become a respectable Noel :P.

So what exactly makes Noel soooo good in this upcoming patch? I saw the Noel change list, but being that specific means nothing to me since I don't have any prior knowledge to base the changes off of.

The main things that scare people about CS2 Noel:

BIG NASTY DAMAGE MIDSCREEN

better normals

actual pressure

EVEN BIGGER NASTIER DAMAGE IN THE CORNER THANKS TO FENRIR

a legit crossup that leads to...

BIG NASTY DAMAGE ANYWHERE

some form of oki(even still it IS BlazBlue oki)

Crazy heat gain

and of course

BIG NASTY DAMAGE

Along with all of this, the overall system changes that they did to nerf the power of IB, and toning down other characters in general really helped propel Noel to where she is now in CS2.

Sup Noelbros sorry for the random ass bump but I need halp

I've been learning Noel for about a week now, I think I have her moves down for the most part I just need to learn some more advanced combos (which I'm working on)

So, how the hell do I link 6C to 22B 22B? I keep trying but it won't work lol. Is there a secret?

For haida you want to catch them on the tip of their hitbox with 6C. There's more/less leniency per characters (you can catch Tager pretty much anywhere you feel like), but ideally you want to catch them as far away as possible, and preferably low to the ground.

Just wanted to expand on Chiizu's comment, since "Spacing" isn't exactly specific on what you're supposed to do :v:

Yeah I can hit it now:yaaay:

Is it possible to do while in the corner too?

It's possible, but instead of doing 66C you just do 6C instead. Check out challenge #9 since that uses the corner haida in it, but there are better corner combos you can do off 3C/Throws anyway.
