SolxBaiken Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Thinking about it I think all those images may in fact be from some demo build of Ougon 2, after all that "Dark" Battler is featured in what little promo art they have for the title and it would be pointless to continue updating the PC version with X coming out and work on 2 has been stated and become apparent awhile ago. I wonder who else they'll add...right now the roster sits at 17 with these two new characters.

It didn't exactly have much in the way of combos back then though, did it? Wasn't everyone's default combo ABC Touch ABC Meta ABC Meta-super? I hear the patches have helped it out quite a lot, though I haven't actually played the game in a long while.

Seems like Erika has a taunt/counter move when she's picking her ear. Man, I like the way she's animated already, certainly one of the characters who wins from non-Ryukishi art the most.

As for how she would fight I imagine she would be rushdown with teleports or Spiral style character position switching moves to keep the opponent off balance.

What about Higanbana/Mesomeso-san for silly guest character shenanigans? Though they should probably wait for their own anime series to come out first. And I guess that they simply didn't draw Dlanor properly yet, she does seem to lack quite a lot of animation frames.

He's got a sword and badass moments and whatnot, so he's bound to be added at some point. Bernkastel could be made into a playable character, with her fighting style focusing on her army of kitties. MARIA will probably be added sooner or later. Krauss could be added, but I sort of doubt that. Zepar and Furfur sharing a character slot would be very unlikely, but pretty interesting.

Still in Japan, haven't really touched Ougon since getting here, mainly been playing gundam vs gundam and gg. Went to Comiket and the Alchemist booth; they had some godlike t-shirts and free posters. Still just waiting for Ougon X so I can play that all day >_>. @MedicHause: Seconding Will. That would be amazing. Also needs Gaap!

I've been looking for some people to play against, the mizumi IRC is pretty dead and full of afkers AND those afkers don't even play the game! Dustloop forum registration was closed for a while, but now it's open and I'm hoping to find some matches with people. I'm in the US (Midwest, New Mexico) and really looking forward to seeing what you guys have to offer. I've only been able to play with a few friends and the random guy on mizumi, but hopefully, there's at least a few of you guys who still play this. Also, I checked the hamachi and didn't find anyone ;( Anyway, pm me so we can play some games, OMK enthusiasts.

I'm just starting to get worried about the fact we might now be getting George and Rosa in the PC ver...I will be profoundly disappointed if that were true...
