SolxBaiken Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 No they must've planned this from the start as Jessica has taken up one of the marked empty slots, there are 2 more slots with 1 extra for random. Ougon: Reprise is to reward and not shaft those who bought the PC version, and Ougon X is for those who can't run it. They'd probably equate to roughly the same price. Geroge and Rosa probably aren't 100% done and will also be patched in upon completion. Also it seems there may be elements you can only get in X (the new stage isn't included and Jessica dresses in different attire for her meta in X)

Meta - A bit sad about this meta, seeing as you can't combo into it except with an anti-air 6C. Again since I didnt have any meter I never got to find out, but since this move is fucking scary to jump against, you can often just throw it out for the chip damage (remember, you're in meta). Half the time you'll guard break them in the process too. Unfortunately the damage is quite low, and it doesnt have any invincibility or so I've heard.You can also land it in the corner off a 2C, 6C, delay 623C, but not all of the hits will connect. Sound weird...

Glad to see they're already working on 2 stuff, and this event will hopefully turn up some interesting pieces to be featured in the full game. Also there's now an official demo for the game that is available for download, so anyone who hasn't played/bought the game can do so without being a filthy pirate D: - Seems to be based on 1.05 code - Limited modes (VS, Options) - Limited stages - Limited characters (Battler, Beatrice, Lucifer, Ange) DOWNLOAD page

Medic Haus Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 (edited) Wow, Jessica has some pretty ridiculous damage and combo potential. 2B > 5B > 5C > 2C > 2B > 5B > 6C > 623A (anti-air, not OTG) > 214B (charged) inflicts a LOT of stun for no meter, not to mention it seems you can combo after a 214B (charged). I just wish her Meta-Super were a bit better. EDIT: Yeah, you can combo after a 214B (charged). Once Ougon X comes out I'll probably be playing it and hopefully discuss info having netplayed with JPs for a while. I probably wont be playing anymore vanilla Ougon since I'm busy playing other games (gg, gvg) atm.

An art contest being held for Ougon 2; Awhile back they stated they would love to have an art gallery featuring guest/fan artist, so now they are holding a contest and picking their favorite pieces. Images can be themed on anything and in character in the Umineko universe (including all 8chs, Tsubasa, and of course Ougon)

Which would've been a pity, but I have my Rosa, so it's totally fine. And that new OP is not as awesome as the first one, sorry.

Also, at 1:42 George and Eva-Beatrice seem to re-enact their fight in EP6. Does this mean that Ougon has a few character specific supers?
