pktazn Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 A bit off topic on what you guys are discussion but does anybody have the video of Noel's and Tsubaki's voice actresses playing against each other saved somewhere? Youtube thought it would be an oh so wonderful idea to take the video down. =( http://www.famitsu.com/blog/asami_ssg/1236598_1944.html Just scroll a little bit to the vidja.
Moy_X7 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Alright, I can honestly say that the Jin who fell for that unblockable Shippu "setup" in the Rin-Rin 24 video made me lol. How do you not see that? HOW DO YOU NOT FUCKING SEE THAT? If you're given enough time to be able to neutral tech, then you better believe that's going to be an unblockable Shippu and that was his cue to DP D/Ice Arrow that shit. The thing is, he probably did see it but he chose the worst possible way to react to that situation and that was him barrier jumping lol.
TD Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 He probably wasn't too experienced with hakumen... Though, as a common rule of thumb, in any fighting game where you see the opponent charging a move, chances are its unblockable... I thought it was one if those things people just 'know'. Guess not, as proven lol
Airk Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 He probably wasn't too experienced with hakumen... Though, as a common rule of thumb, in any fighting game where you see the opponent charging a move, chances are its unblockable... I thought it was one if those things people just 'know'. Guess not, as proven lol I disagree. It's obvious to me that he knew it was unblockable, but wasn't familiar with the exact hit area, and tried to get out of the way. Would it have been smarter to jsut hit him? Probably since Jin has frame 1 invulnerable moves, but he paniced and just tried to jump out of the way.
pktazn Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 lol at the Jin trying to barrier block it, I didn't actually think the Shippu would hit for a second but when it did I have to admit I laughed.
desayuno Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Tsubaki kicking TOO MUCH ass! Man it's been a while since I've been excited for BB.
GenoWhirl Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm13404999 The bang in this vid is hilarious (Around 16:36) Highlights are the end of round 1 :u
germanturkey Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 is Tsubaki's full screen special punishable on block?
TD Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 is Tsubaki's full screen special punishable on block? which one? 236d is +3, l dont think 236c is very easily punishable either.
Airk Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 (edited) is Tsubaki's full screen special punishable on block? It's unclear. I have seen it get punished sometimes (pretty sure I saw a Valk player jab her after it, but maybe she was trying to do something else.), but I've also seen lots of people not try, and I've seen it comboed after, so... yeah. Muddled. What I haven't see yet is anyone try to jab it and get blocked. I don't think. Maybe it happened in an early vid, but if it did, I forget. Oh, and disclaimer: this is all for 236c. Pretty sure 236d is basically safe. Edited January 27, 2011 by Airk
germanturkey Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 ah, thanks. kind of crazy that a full screen move like that is that safe.
Urichinan Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Considering that it's very risky, takes a Charge Stock and the other 3 versions aren't safe... I don't think it's the crazy.
Airk Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Considering that it's very risky, takes a Charge Stock and the other 3 versions aren't safe... I don't think it's the crazy. I wouldn't call it "very risky" and in CS2, some of the other versions appear to be safe, so... yeah. Tsubaki can fullscreen punish you now. Don't screw around. :P
TD Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 it does look pretty safe in most vids. in cs1 you can very easily punish her if she dosent rc.
moofpie Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Finally some aerial BBL combos. The only time I remember using it in CT or CS1 was on accident...
Eshi Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Considering that it's very risky, takes a Charge Stock and the other 3 versions aren't safe... I don't think it's the crazy.Have one charge isn't exactly uncommon for cs2 tsubaki, you know
Nini Heart Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 That Athena tourney was pretty hype. Tsujikawa raping as usual, good stuff. Repping his 90% win rate. Also that tsubaki player was damn good. But shit 1700 games played and it's only been a month.....
kirbster Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Finally some aerial BBL combos. The only time I remember using it in CT or CS1 was on accident... That guy was using it in CS1... though I'm pretty sure he was the only one. It should be easier now anyway, what with the increased untechable time of j.C.
Jourdal Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 So Galileo uses Litchi now? If you mean in general, he was using her in CS1. In CS2 i heard he used Makoto at first but went back to Litchi (thank god).
smooshman Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 lol jin's like "fuck this I'm going to lose" 214D blockstring lol.
zdravkelja Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Huh.. While being a troll and ''I would rather loose a match than win it without astral finish'' guy, Dora is probably the best Bang in CS2 I saw until now.
