Looks more like Slash (lower damage overall, and instead of CHs leading to pretty big damage like in Slash, CS2 has corner damage) to me. Not sure how the balance will turn out, but we'll just have to see.

Arguments should have stopped here. CS1 tier list won't even matter come spring. Tier list for a dead game doesn't do much. Tao is fine where she is. Everyone is fine where they are. Game's dead soon, just wave goodbye to CS1 and move along.

Tager and Tsubaki have to rely on super risky stuff for damage because they're so intrinsically flawed.

Means low tier is disadvantaged but can still win tournies. And that most chars are actually more mid tier than anything. (As an example I believe there was a johnny/buri/x team in like top 4 or something sbo2k10.) CS2 looks like ara/mak/noel/haz and then everyone else in a tier below them to me anyway. This tier list looks fine. I think tsubaki is worse than tager but the difference wouldn't matter either way. Tao can be pretty easily argued for whether her awful defense without meter brings her amazing neutral and offensive game down enough for A tier.
