It looks like they wanted to make Slash but ended up making Accident Core There is no trash char but ridiculously strong chars make this game joke. It might have been much improved balancewise tho..

If you've played CT and CS1, just compare those top tiers to CS2's current top tier and you'll agree that there's nothing ridiculously strong about them. CS2 seems pretty balanced so far. People are just having a hard time getting used to Makoto. I can see her drop a notch on the tier list in a few months though.

killionaire Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Is it possible that a lack of matchup experience relative to other characters is what might make Makoto a little bit stronger than what she really is? If I recall correctly, the arcade cabinets never had access to the DLC characters till CS2.

Also, the game is to anime for Tager to be good (unless they change something big), and it seems that CS2 Makoto has a lot of very simple, brain dead answers to many situations (but I haven't played the game and am not japanese).

EDIT: Tager could be good, but they need to give him sooooo much more. When i saw the final tager changelist, i was really sad about how little he gained

On the other hand the top tiers in CS1 are not overwhelmingly hard if you know how to block. In fact instead of talking about CS2 in a CS1 tier list thread how about you go in practice mode and learn how to block. Trust me its CS top tiers are not as bad as you claim it is. And yes if you play Tager you will always suffer because Pachi hates grapplers.

Either: A) The Japanese list is right, and we should all STFU because we are ignorant Americans who can't block, in which case, this thread has no purpose. OR B) The Japanese list is probably in the right ballpark, but there's room for some discussion based on experiences of good players over here, in which case, shouldn't we stop telling people "shut up, you're a stupid american who can't block"?
