sorry for the double post i have 4 air throw combos here, over 3k with 1 charge

air throw - 6c - 214d - 5c(w)c - 2cc- (236b- 214b - 22b) or (jc - djc - jcc - 236a - 214c)

this is my fav now: air throw 5c - 2cc(delay second) - 214d - 5c(w)c - 2cc (236b - 214b - 22b) or (air combo) this one should cross them under good if you have your back to the corner, simple to execute 100 or so less damage than IAD combo, let me know what you think (training dummy was bang)

That's good, if you've got your back to the corner so you can cross under quickly.

Alternatively, if you're near mid-screen you can go for full screen carry with air throw -> dash 5C > 2CC > delay 236D > dash 5C > 2CC > 236B > 214B > 22B.

If you're gonna get them to corner with the usual air throw -> dash 5C > 2CC > 236B > 214B > 22B then I'd save the meter unless it's a kill combo for corner shenanigans but that's just me.

Just noticed a habit I have while I was trying to practice the IAD combo...

Does doing 2669 (super IAD I guess it would be called) affect the combo in any way? Cuz that's how I've been doing my IADs.... I didn't realize I was adding the 2 until a few minutes ago.

I have a feeling something similar like this was asked before though haha.

Generally, the closer you are to the ground when you land that second hit of j.CC the better so you can continue the 5B link at that point.

I haven't seen anyone do super jump into IAD but given you are dashing at the same height as you would with a normal jump, it shouldn't matter much.

Still, it seems like you're making it harder than it has to be~

If it works well for you and you can do it consistently though, keep doing it.

As I always never say... if the hat fits...

Hmmm.. Ok just wondering. I'll keep working on it no bigs though I think adding the 2 puts me a bit higher but I can't tell at the moment xD

Doing the 2669 actually isn't that hard for me, it's just how I've always done my IADs since it always came out more consistently if I did that. Worked so much I didn't even realize I was doing it until now haha!

There are some really silly FC combos you can do but realistically, I'd recommend going for

6CC > 214D > 2CC > IAD j.CC > 5C > 2CC > IAD j.CC > 5B > 2CC > 236B > 214B > 22B

1 Charge, 4.7k ish.

You should be able to do it without two forward taps... 269. If it comes out more consistently like that it may be because you're doing an 8 instead of a 9? But inputting the dash before the jump, does that work? 866 also has use for IAD combos, sometimes 96 won't work when 866 will, but it's a pretty small difference

I always though the appropriate way to IAD was to hit 99? It seems to be working for me, anyway, but it could be that my inputs are sloppy and some 6s are sneaking in there.

I'm on pad so it feels like 2669 when it could just be 269. I'm trying to take out the 2 but it's a lot harder to get an IAD out though I am getting better so I'm just taking it a step at a time.

Edit: jk I have to do the 66 otherwise I just get a normal jump or super jump for me at least.

You gaiz are silly. Practice 96 and see how natural it feels!

found a random combo on litchi last night, not sure who else it can work on, 2.7k damage: 5bb jbb (delay second hit) jc 5bb jbb (delay second hit) jc - 5bb - 5cc - 22a

Works on Ragna too, though I think that'll work againt everyone except Rachel and possibly Noel.

Wasn't that in the intermediate combo video? If so, it works on Hakumen as well. Don't remember if it was on CH or not.

It's no big deal, my bad. It's like 5 seconds long and I didn't even realize it was in there till I watched it a couple of times. It's good to know that it can work on some other characters as well :D

Did anyone else know Valk has a fat OTG hitbox? You can pick him up with 236C while's he down like with Rachel and Tager.

>remembered combo thread existed

>checked said thread

>Valk listed as 236C OTGable :vbang:
