I do have to wonder how they're balancing the range. Waldstein kinda makes sense since he's supposed to be big and slow. Gordeau on the other hand is covering the entire screen in some of his scythe attacks, so I'm wondering if those're supposed to be really unsafe or not, or whether his close range game is lacking.

Orie actually seems to have one of the shortest reaches so far, but that may just be because nobody is really using her Stand.

I honestly don't think Gordeau's double spin attack should be so fast when it looks like he can get to 0 frames pretty easily. It doesn't look like that special pushes the opponent far enough, so I guess the idea of beating him is to stay close unless he has a few countermeasures that I haven't seen yet.

On a minor stylistic note, Carmine's hair starts off as white at the beginning of his character intro, after which he seemingly laughs while touching his head in typical villain fashion and his hair reaches its portrayed red color.

Welp, didn't imagine that I'd like Carmine, but I do. I love his mix of zoning, traps and proper rushdown, his spinning stars reek of Jedah, and he's far from being the usual evil shoto. He also reminds me of that dagger psycho from BBB, forgot his name.

The rest of the cast still have to show their full potential, aside from Gordeau's range. Makes me look silly for being impressed about Waldshein's.

By the way, now that I've heard them pronouncing his name, I actually get the Valentine's Day joke they did before.

Also Carmine's looking really interesting, even when the player managed to pull off his Infinite Worth

One should note that almost all of Carmine's specials actually seem to take off his own HP upon execution.

Looks like the specials that drain Carmine's health also leave a pool of blood on the ground that he can use for more specials that don't cost health. Also looks like he's limited to 2 pools at once.

I guess pool placement/usage will be important than. :/ Do the blood crystals leave/use pools? Also, the most pools I've ever seen has been two, so that might be carmine's max

His specials with the pools seem to be the blood crystals/glaciers and a blood wave. The crystals/glaciers require the pool to be there to be used, but it doesn't consume the pool and only covers the area directly over the pool. The wave covers the entire ground but uses up the pool.

For Orie, I can't see any cost to the specials that summon her Stand.

Thanks! ^-^ The jedah blades use pools too, but they drift backwards and revert back to pools once they're done. The blood waves are going to be interesting though

More blood specials: It looks like he can make the blood rise off the ground and cause a small crystal explosion. The crystals/glaciers seem to have a follow up where he expands it forward. Both use up the pools.

I can't tell if his blood wheel automatically causes a wave to go off or whether the person just felt like controlling space with both at once. Edit: Guess it's safe to assume the wheel just causes a wave to go off if you already have a pool down.

Carmine seems like Eddie + A.B.A + Jedah.

He must have a high damage output if his specials are so sacrificial. I hope he does anyway.
