This game is supposed to come out in Spring/Summer 2012 for arcades. Console/PC port/localization is completely unknown so far.

High Counter is from Melty Blood. It occurs when you counter a special attack and adds more hitstun/stop to the counter.

Notice how Gordeau's video loops back to Hyde as the opponent, while the previous demos got the next demo's character as the opponent. Does that mean that they don't have Merkava playable yet?

And I love that Carmine rapeface.

Huh, didn't notice that until now.

I honestly don't see Merkava/Vatista/Seth/Yuzuriha getting demonstration videos until after the loketest that has them playable. A shame too, I really want info on all four of them.

Carmine currently looks like he has the most room for creativity in the cast. Lotsa stuff you can do with his blood abilities there. And you just have to appreciate how happy he gets every time he wins~.

Carmine is fabulous. His hair going from white > red is sexy for some reason.

CarMINE. As in mine. <3 I'm so very hyped for this game.

So is this game releasing for console or what? Is going to be import only?

No word on either. All of the companies past fighting games have never seen the light of day for a NA publisher.

Gordeau looks AWESOME, Carmine as well, but I hate all the red on him.

I wish Orie was a little more interesting though, I like her design the best out of the characters shown so far, but her play style looks way too stiff.

I'm waiting to see the samurai girl's fighting style now, before choosing who I'll learn when the PC port comes out.

So, the past fighting games were only on PC then? I was just wondering, I could get my hands on it, I was just wondering if it would be for PS3 if it is released. It can easily be imported by me if released.

I wouldn't cross your fingers anytime if you're hoping for a localization here. Ecole/French Bread has shown nothing but absolute disinterest (Or ignorance if you want to frame it in a way that's critical) in regards to bringing their games outside of Japan and tapping into a western audience (That clearly exists).

Even then the companies' porting track record is pretty horrible in itself, if they learned their lesson from Melty Blood maybe they'll realize they should actually invest some time in bringing the game to current consoles rather than PC (If they choose to port it at all, in which case it'll probably be Ps3 exclusive given what they were "considering" for Melty Blood CC).

Carmine looks fun, probably the character I've been most interested in since Day 1 reveal.

Also - Text from the VS dialogues is completely incoherent English, like seriously what the hell?

Recurring Void Effect - Well, the origin of hopeless time. I risk my life with the wish, obligation and prepare for strife with an enemy.

"X" Clause - The persons who love the "Immortalize" life talked about between the people and ask a soul, and exist at eaten monster all part with suddenness, and gather round at night of the "IN-BIRTH" destiny which awakes. Something which should be protected. The thought that it can't be given. Repeated war. And "Seven days Immortal" where ----- comes soon.

DIVIDE! - kill each other, but it's good "INVERSES"

DOWN - Depletion of EXS

BREAKDOWN - Vanishment of VOID

Winner - The end determination of an intense desperate struggle stuck. You win a war and pause in the place admirably. And a body was shaken in feeling of a new war.

There are also some text things which accompany each character, but they're so nonsensical that I won't even re-type it.

I honestly agree with Prototype but some of the english kinda makes sense now. As for the english that doesn't make sense, maybe it'll make sense after we learn more about the story. Knowing French Bread it might not even make it over seas but that's why there are translation patches...although i'm not sure how that's gonna work on consoles.

Though it's not like all hope is lost. French Bread/Ecole seems to be paying more attention to overseas markets than before, so slim as it may be, there's still a possibility that they can be convinced to localize it.

Not that I can blame them for being hesitant. Localizing a game is freakin' expensive; they could very well go bankrupt if they try it and it fails.

true, but they have way more chances to succed than examu for example (and they have tried twice so far), considering the amount of loyal fans that mb has overseas

also if they go the downloadable route they can cut the costs a lot

i seriously hope that we get a localization for the game, so foar it looks promising

I talked to Bo from Aksys about Melty getting localized and they had no luck. Aksys tried it seems.

Honestly I don't care if they bother localizing it or not, so long as it gets a console port, I'll just import it anyway. [/FG Otaku]

no reason for them to try and localize when 90-95% of their fanbase is in japan, theyre not exactly swimming in cash either

Bluh, I swear I remember them saying something about wanting to compete with BB. I guess they only intend to do so in Japan then?

Oh well, I'll just import it.
