Kurushii Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Didn't fb say something about getting unib to EVO? I at least remember something like that. If that's true, wouldn't it be smarter to release it on console in America? The devs have made comments of doing something with Evo for a while. To this day they have yet to full-fill that. If you are speaking of the facebook Evo game poll those were fan entries. Not serious voting.
JokerAceX Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I hope someone is recording these Linne combo's that was sick.
RagnellBlue Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 That 9K damage Orie combo. 7K meterless a bit before it, too (at least I think it was meterless).
caiooa Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 bu bu but "Free Jiyuna" was a option, it was obviously a oficial pool!
JokerAceX Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) Yuzuriha seems stupid a rush down character with almost full screen control...and she can start combo's off it :< Edited November 5, 2012 by JokerAceX

darkcloud Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Does anyone know how I might go about purchasing this game? I am willing to drop a good amount of money and get an arcade cabinet if possible. So far I have found out it runs on Sega's Ringedge 2 hardware which is fairly new. I have had a lot of trouble finding this hardware for sale to import to the US. All I can find is some iffy Taito X2 stuff. Would anyone here be able to help or point me in the right direction? Thanks
JokerAceX Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Watch this and learn the awesomeness of Yuzu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzXlJfbZyvw naw man this character is stupid with her top tier mobility, but on a side note the people we see playing on the club sega stream seem more consistent with their combo's then the guys at Athena Nihonbashi.
heavymetalmixer Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Watch this and learn the awesomeness of Yuzu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzXlJfbZyvw Those teleportation cross ups, damn, she has everything, speed, mixups, cross ups, range and damage. She needs some nerfs.

Hecatom Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 http://www.4gamer.net/games/128/G012841/20121101001/ From the interview to French Bread: - Melty Blood HD is sort of a reality, it was tested at some point and they didn't want to continue because they want to see Type-Moon keep going with Tsukihime before do something. - Sion on UNIB was, in fact, the test character of MBHD - French Bread is afraid of low sales with UNIB because is an original property - They are interested in bring UNIB for PC on Steam platform! Thanks to Hayama Akito for the link
Daedron Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 http://www.4gamer.net/games/128/G012841/20121101001/ - They are interested in bring UNIB for PC on Steam platform! Thank you based fighting game gods!
Starlight777 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Hope they eventually get an interest for consoles too.
Agni Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 If they do put it on Steam, I serioughope that it can be bought in the US. I'd buy it even in Japanese.
Akiro Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 "- They are interested in bring UNIB for PC on Steam platform!" Oh shit.
TekkamanArk Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 So, basically, we're not getting a console release, just a PC one? Sorry, as much as I love how this game seems to play, and the characters themselves, i'm just not a PC gamer. Sadly, i'll have to miss this game because they won't "risk" selling it on something actually enjoyable.
Delrian Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Sadly, i'll have to miss this game because they won't "risk" selling it on something actually enjoyable. #opinions My only problem with PC fighting games is sometimes there will be timing differences/slowdowns if the setup isn't good enough.
SolxBaiken Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Nothing is set in stone, interview answers =/= stone etched truth or else NA would've had Type-0 by now ; -;
MetalMaelstrom Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Where in that article is it mentioned that French-Bread is considering a steam release or even a PC one? I tried searching in both English and moonrunes and nothing came up
Tokkan Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Where in that article is it mentioned that French-Bread is considering a steam release or even a PC one? I tried searching in both English and moonrunes and nothing came up It's on the second page of the interview.

Sadly, i'll have to miss this game because they won't "risk" selling it on something actually enjoyable. Lol PC gaming is way better than console if you got the specs. The only problems with FG on PC are: -The need for a rock-solid FPS no matter what, wth zero fluctuations tolerated -The slight cost of getting a compatible controller -The fact that PCs good enough to run FG (which isn't that much power, admittedly) without slowdown at all costs a LOT more than consoles unless you wanna hand-build like 50 of them, so tournaments are harder to set up (though this could be alleviated by simply having the players bring their own PCs)
Ragnarok_F4 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Personally, I don't like the steam idea, at least for a fighting game. I know it represents the safer risk for a game port, but i think arcade>console>PC in FG. I know what Agni said is true, but your monitor is smaller than your tv, you have to be sit always (for me sometimes is uncomfortable), for people like me that have to upgrade the PC to play it's way expensive, playing with your friends will be weird with reduced space and almost all the community is in the consoles outside japan. I prefer just to import it for PS3 as i did with arcana -_- (i don't even care if it isn't released outside japan). If they want this game to pass unnoticed in the FGC make it for PC (this won't make it to EVO in PC). Also, it will have high risk of hacking it, and didn't French Bread say that the Melty Blood PC port killed some arcade tournaments? Meh....This sucks. Good things: -Somehow we are getting the game. -Netplay is better.
