pochp Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Damn, I haven't been there in awhile so i forgot they were xbox supremisists at fonzoo :P, thing is i'm at work right now and to get my ps3 i would have to go home and come back downtown,which would take about 45 minutes to an hour. i'll see what happens later, if enough people end up going i'll go get my ps3 (unless at least 2 other people can bring theirs). My guess is we won't need 2 consoles, if it's like last week there's probably only one TV and maybe another where we'd be able to plug in the PS3, and we won't be many playing them animu games. Lol would probably take me 3-4 hours to go home get mine and come back so... By the way, we usually meetup on Thursdays and Sundays at the HQ and we bring our PS3s, you should come

Yesterday we were 10 guys for animu games (me, brice, nini heart, fred, kirbster, vice-taicho, steb, airmaster, ken, monster king) and a few more for marvel. We had a lot of setups too so no excessive waiting. By the way, I can't remember, do you play stick or pad? Because that's always a problem for Foonzo. Their 360 setups are stick only, and if we somehow get a PS3, they don't have any sticks there. I'm okay with either, although I've been exclusively stick recently, I'd just need to try out my combos once in training mode so my mind doesn't freeze when I manage to confirm into a combo.

I have a ps2 and ps3 stick and an adaptor for 360, but i don't have the adaptor with me today lol But if there's a 360 setup with the sticks already then there really isin't a problem for anyone who plays stick

pochp Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Yeah the problem with the head to heads is that they're 360s (or PS2, yes there's a PS2 that they use for Third Strike if I'm not mistaken), so no AH3 on the head to heads I hope they fixed the joysticks though, because out of the two stations with the BB dlc, one didn't have a stick last time. I'll be there around 5:30 or 6 PM.

I always kill his wolvie real quick, then akuma comes in and makes short work of my team. When I do manage to kill him with a coming in set up like Trish blade>Dante>guess left or right, fucken XF 3 sentinel just rapes my team lol. But it was hella fun, I'mma actually start playing this game and go to the marvel meet ups. Steb teach me comboes. @Pedro: Actually, if you still have that TV, i'll gladly take it. I need to practice Marvel lol.

We use both PS3s and 360s, and have converters from one to the other (well the only way to 360 to PS3 is with a wired controller but we have access to one now thanks to Nini Heart). We should have enough consoles and TVs, we're hoping team NAH doesn't strike back. @Nini : okay I'll see about it for Sunday, will you be home between 1 and 2 PM? However, do you have a VGA cable for your 360, plugging it into a computer screen is probably easier. Also, lol marvel, why are you attacking level 3 XF sentinel, didn't you see the video on how to deal with him? Using snapbacks instead of supers so you don't have to face off against a full hp level 3 sent or just getting used to punishing his assist might be a good idea. When playing against him, I was always very afraid of calling in the sentinel assist. But yeah, it's still a fun game

As long as it's not retardedly dumbed down, then it's a legit game with legit tactics and depth. That's all that matter ken, and yes you have been improving significantly. One of your best traits is adapting to the advance people give to you immediately.
