So yeah, as of today my presence to Foonzo will be near to none, Pedro got a nice little Steaming Setup 101 I'd just have to show him the more intern things through XSplit and he's good to go. Goro might not be able to make it for NEC, but I'll then have to challenge him in his own turf, Japan, the next weekend after NEC and to do so, I'll have to start practicing square gate from bits to bits in order to be able to play properly on a cabinet. Sushi Hana was really good, was nice seeing you all outside of Foonzo and gaming and hope to do so again in the near future.

To the Montreal people going to T13, what are you guys doing for lodging/do you know of an insanely cheap place I could crash at? I was supposed to be staying with a friend, but his place is having to be fumigated to get rid of roaches for like the 3rd time and he's now couch hopping. There's other stuff I'm taking care of so on top of Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights, I'll be up there for Monday night too. So uh...my back's kinda really against the wall and I'm kinda desperate here. Sorry to come off like a mooch and stuff though.

Little details regarding the organisation of ranbats (on my part) :

1. I'll always buy the winner his price the next time I see him (all dat Sapporo to waste)

2. Next event should be thursday of next week, unless there are any preferences, I assume we just do a BB event.

3. Is there still the idea of monthly events with all games floating around? I still like the idea (I understand if nobody really has the time though)

We had a really odd situation that's quite long in detail. Long story short, friend of mine took an hotel in toronto the same weekend and couldn't make it. So we changed the reservation name to mine and i'll just pay him back. The hotel is 30 minutes from the venue if you walk (though we'll drive). We have 1 hotel room booked for 5 people staying in there (originally planned to be 6 though if I'm not mistaken). Since I'm relatively new to this community and all, I wouldn't want to give a definite answer, but I'm open to the idea of you chipping in for the hotel room and joining us if it helps. We got the room at a very good deal (70$ less than usual at 130 for the night)

But I'm no boss of this trip so up to the others to see if they're open as well to this. At the end of the day, we pay less (should pay less unless they charge us for the extra people) for our room and you get a place to stay. Though, since we'll drive the distance from the hotel to the venue, one person would either have to walk or we would have to make multiple trips. Since this is a considerable walk, thought it'd be a good thing to warn you first.

The one good thing about my friend being there is that he has a car last I remember so if I talked to him it's certainly possible that he could potentially do a bit of driving unless things change even more. He's doing his couch surfing at U of T so I'd have to Google map the distance for him, but I don't think it would be too big of a problem. I understand you're not in charge of things with the trip like you said, and the only ones from Montreal I know that are going are pochp, Nini, and (I think Brice), so I've got no idea if one of them's in charge or whatnot.

Also, out of curiousity are you guys going to be heading back on the Monday or the Sunday evening? Just so I'll have a better idea. Thanks for reaching out the opportunity, btw.
