I only really got into it in the last two episodes and then it was over before I knew what happened. What made me rage was how half the decisions were blatantly stupid to the point where it was like a horror movie and how the story basically couldn't exist without it. You know, like how there'll be a dark basement with a murderer on the loose and the girl decides to just go down there on her own without a flashlight, just because. Fujiwara Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) moemura? My honest opinion on all the characters. I really only liked Goddess Madoka and Madoka herself. I couldn't really favor any of the other characters for any reason. I think the story/anime itself is only as famous as it is because it flipped the Mahou Shoujo genre from pancakes and syrup to an orphanage burning down. I think the anime is overhyped, but at the same time I believe it deserves a majority of the hype it got as a whole. Kyouko didn't really have enough character for me. I really enjoyed Sayaka's descent into madness. Homura wasn't impressive to me in the least character wise. Guns and moemura were pretty on point for me, though. Let's face it, Mami is what got us all into the anime. Wasn't it cool how she charged head first? She kinda lost her head there. I think if she was just a little less headstrong she could've lived to see another day... I do think she was head and shoulders above the rest of the girls, though. I can understand why you'd dislike it, but that's exactly the point of the story lol. That's the whole idea behind Mahou Shoujos and even Kyubey was explaining why it was that way. Can't expect girls having puberty not to be dumb and impulsive when faced with the prospect of any wish to be fullfiled. Edited January 30, 2013 by DerQ

Brice Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 so much sayaka love in here i cannot understand you guys... we should rename the thread : stealthy waifu wars using hidden text. for a final word on this madoka stuff, lets say that i would exactly do what homura did knowing full well the implications of what doing an endless 8 would be. profound respect. virtue to the max :3 madoka well thats basically what i woud've wished for : become an omnipotent being and deal with everything to make the world the best place. kyouko? whatev shes the tomboy tsundere. i like that for what they are. even with no character at all. mami? dunno felt like a random generic girl... insane minus points when we understood that she snapped after the sayaka stuff sayaka... welp i wanted to punch her the moment she said she wanted to be meguca. everything she did and said after charlotte was absolute garbage to my eyes. yes that bad. before she was cool though. but yeah that's why i dont hang out with 14 years old people. wisdom is a skill you get mostly with age. god do i hate using spoiler tags, dunno when its appropriate and when i should just not use them... alright then, seems like i need to watch more anime series and rant about my hype about it, people just come in here and post their viewpoints on waifus. fun stuff alright for the next 9 days my life will look to me like poop, since i wont be able to sleep at all. dont think i'm gonna stay late tomorrow...
