Are you on east coast Omni? I'd like to play you but this is unfortunately not a character that goes well with distance lag.

I dont mind playing you as well since you're on west coast.

It was Stargazer's combo, I could had up'd the numbers with gold bursts but I wanted to avoid using those.

Valk is gay and everyone is gonna switch to Relius.

I guess I'll humor you, her basic play style hasn't changed much at all so that's far from my problem. Same applies to her damage and meter gain. What disappointed me was how cookie cutter her combos are and what little room they have for growth.

So they took away creativity when it came to the things she could do? I guess I can understand that for switching mains, I'd do the same if they took Ragna back to CS1.

I hated BK in CS1. I'm not the biggest fan of it still as far as using it in matches, but at least it's actually fun this time.

Nane? is Makoto really that braindead or people are just being salty?... anyway i see the whole cast more braindead than Makoto except few.

What disappointed me was how cookie cutter her combos are and what little room they have for growth.

The problem now is that a ton of her tools are useless :(

Any Character can be "brain dead". Makoto is a linear character, always was a linear character. I'd say she is very fundamental based, not very gimmicky. She highly rewards solid footsies and fundamentals. I think her problem is that she never really has that much room for exploration. Like omni said, cookie cutter. What you see in week one combos are more than likely her most optimal. and also lots of her tools are useless and or unsafe.

Well, it also took a while to find out the different ways to go into double Lightning Arrow and the orb stuff midscreen in CS1, so who knows what's being discovered in the future.

Although, I guess the concerns are justified since Makoto has lost options with every new game while getting only a few new ones. But, all the footage from Japan shows stuff some might not have explored yet (I assume I'm not the only one who didn't know about 5D > 214ACC). Sure, it's kind of wishful thinking, but it's also pretty early to abandon ship or call her unimaginative.

I think Makoto's CS1 lighting arrow combos were most fun. Give me CS1 makoto with CS2 5B and i will be happy. =p
