I haven't heard that it affects airborne A moves, but that sort of usage of j.A is fairly uncommon, so who knows. I'm somewhat doubtful that they'd limit aerial chaining of j.A, though.

This is what I thought, I'd be a lot happier if they didn't limit them because using j.AxN is a great way to keep people from jumping out of pressure.

@ Cirno: 5A is enough to condition people for swallow moon mix up, It is just a matter of making them scared to jump though, and some people refuse to stay down.

Conditioning can be hard.

I'm not saying we aren't losing anything, I just said the stagger method doesn't change (especially if they barrier blocked). TK swallow moon mixup midscreen is really, really risky even now, and usually shouldn't even be done after a 5A. Like you said, conditioning can be hard, and most people won't respect that. If you think they're trying to jump, a well timed 5C will blow them up. And even if they block it, jump canceling will still let you continue your pressure (TK swallow moon after a 5C is much safer than after a 5A obv, although it's still risky if they were barrier blocking, even more so if you're midscreen).

I'm liking the buff to the Bombs where they now catch on fire and kinda' just float instead of fly upward like they do now. I'm sure it'll be way easier to hit-confirm off of.
i'm hoping this stops the whole 1hit bomb business, with the second hit completely whiffing on contact.

looks like some FC Air Persia stuff is starting to come in.

ペルシャfcは最低空で当てると5Cが繋がりそれより高いと基本5Aしか繋がりません。

if the Persia hits for FC as low in air as possible, you can connect with 5C, any higher than that only 5A will connect

ペルシャfc>5Cが入ると5C始動のコンボルートはほぼ入ります。ダフルベリクルルートのコンボをしてもまだ少し余裕がありました。ペルシャfcダフルベリクルでだいたいダメが3900位でした。

A low FC will lead to 5C combo routes. going into a 2C>214C>6C... combo will give around 3900 damage

ペルシャfc>5Aの場合は5B始動のコンボルートなら入ります。

C泡ベリクルで3100位でした

5B combo routes are possible from high FC. gets around 3100 damage with C bubble combos

note: the person who posted these is not completely sure of it. there's also some more stuff, but i have to go to class

Something that I saw that would be worth experimenting with as soon as the game comes out.

CH J.d > IAD j,C > 22C > 5C > Mami > 6C > 22C > 6A > Mami oki set-up. Seems plausible.

That was only 4.9 off of CH AtoA j.C in the corner with Hammer loop. And you needed to do fancy shit before hand by squeezing in two 22Cs.

I dunno, but whenever Axis hits me with something like that, I'm taking 5k meterless AND effortless.

So yeah you can still get that damage, but it's not as easy as before. Same with CSX Noel ;3 4k off of midscreen drive hit all day :D

Well, considering she could set up 9k and 10k combos before for less work, it's a big step down (albeit a step in the right direction imo)

Two 22C's isn't actually that much at all, especially compared to some of her more annoying combos. CH AtoA j.5C happens pretty often, and of course Hammer is required for the bigger damage... but 5k in the corner without spending meter is still damn good. I'm not saying we don't have less damage, but I am saying that our damage is far from gone.

Basically: This was a very practical situation, j.5C's p1 is 90 so if 5C was nerfed down to to the same, we'd still be just fine. Not to mention if some of her other normals p1 are the same (like 5A being 80), and her p2's being close to as they are (in the 85-90 region) then she'll still get respectable damage off of any 'decent starter' in/near the corner. Add in that she's getting more damage off of nigh every CH cat and bat, aimable bombs, super completion off of a second mami, so on and so forth etc etc.

I'm still hoping we can still build godlike amounts of meter off of Bubbless Hammer Loops. getting 52 heat off of 2B starter was ridiculous, 66 heat if you went for oki, and if you did CDT finisher you'd get 6K right off the bat, plus if the conditions are met you could do it right off the beginning of the match and have a significant lead. But like Cirno said, some of her combos are rather hard to do, but the reward is well worth the work though.

I'm sure you guys who play her all the time wont have a problem with her hard combos, I'll pick her up maybe once a month and still be able to do them with only a few hiccups, so you Plat Vets should be ready and able.

Is the timing for 22C any different (and hopefully more consistent) now?

Probably not, I don't think they made any changes to her hitstop, if they didn't then nothing would change.

It's hard to say without any of us having played the game (maybe you could poke Xie and ask him, haha). Rather doubt they'd really change the timing on that, though.
