j.D's untech time was increased but since combos like 6A 6C j.D 2B don't work anymore, was the recovery also increased?. It seems the only way 2B will connect after j.D is when the opponent is high in the air like after 6A 6C j.A j.C j.D or Spring Raid 6C(high) j.D

Why don't you ever cancel into drive when I block 6B then? It's always 6B 3C or 6B rapid 6B.

Because you don't ever block 6B, I can tell because I don't use 6B > 3C on block ;3

I see through you dog.

Try, 6A>6C>j.5C>j.D>[Land]2B>6C>22C>66C>[Drive Shenanigans]...

j.5C>j.D allows for 2B after landing to connect.

After looking at the new hitboxes it seems that the buffs to j.B and such are not correct, or is comparing the new and old hitboxes side-by-side not an accurate way of determining this? Is it also possible that the frame data was taken incorrectly? 4D was supposed to be buffed but after looking at the CSX hitbox it looks like its head and body invlun were taken away.

CSX 4D

CS2 4D

Having a hitbox does not mean invuln was taken away.

4D's properties changed:

In CS2, if an attack touched Noel's Blue hitbox, it would hit her out of it.

In CSX, if an attack has F property, and hits Noel ANYWHERE, it will beat 4D, but if it does not have F property, it will lose to 4D.

Ok, so does that mean comparing hitboxes against each other is not an accurate way of viewing hitbox changes? Another example not dealing with invuln is 5B, in CSX her hurtbox was moved forward compared to CS2 but this nerf was not mentioned.

It's accurate for hitboxes yes, however you need to take the move's properties into account as well.

Since 5B doesn't have any invuln to speak of, then that does indeed mean it was changed.

Heya guys, it's been awhile, finally bought bb csx :]

Funny that you are talking about the new 4D move because I was looking at its frame data just before coming here

Long ago, I wanted to use the 4D on reaction when my opponent was trying to use an overhead, but it didn't worked well because most overhead had an hitbox that was able to crush my 4D

But now, since 4D has an attribute head/body base invulnerability and most overhead just have these two attribute, doesn't that mean that it will work now ? 8)

4D on any overhead would be soooooo goooooooood :D

(can't test, don't have my xbox :'()

As long as the move doesn't have F property and the move you are trying to beat has less active frames than 4D's invuln frames then yes.

Obviously though everything takes timing, if you start 4D too soon, your opponent may hit you after the invuln ends.

I don't know if it's worth bringing up(or if anyone cares) but d.6B's startup was supposedly increased. On the wiki it shows it as 21f startup which is the same from CS2. Is this a mistake on the wiki or did it not change?

It didn't change.

Just like 236A/B/C, they said it supposedly got slower too, but it didn't.
