Oh awesome, Elizabeth. Looks like I'm not maining Teddie anymore.

Still have high hopes for Theo or Ken though as console characters or DLC

I never really get this tier thing. All i know for a fact is that every character have their good matchups and bad matchups. but it depends on the player mostly. Don't get me wrong here, im just saying that tier doesn't matter and it's people's opinions.

Well yeah, tier lists are opinions, but that doesn't mean they're entirely irrelevant either. Mitsuru and Chie being consistently placed in S+/S tier definitely means something, same goes for Yukiko and Akihiko being consistently placed at the bottom. It's the mid-tiers that get messy and most heavily debated.

Tiers are meant to represent differences in character strength if two characters are played by two equally matched (and skilled, or arguably "perfect") players. In a lot of cases, tiers don't really matter too much.

Anyway, let's end the tier discussion here. It basically petered out on its own already, and in a reasonably civil fashion no less.

depending of the game, tiers would or would not matter

in game like 3s where the diferences between tiers are very clear saying that tiers dont matter would be plain ridiculous

tiers theorically are the representation of the over all matchups between characters, a character with more matchups in its favor would be placed higher on the tier, meanwhile a character with less matchups in its favor would be placed lower

of course the tiers become "meaningless" when the diference in the lowest and the highest is because as i said in a previous post is 6:4 for the top, and 4:6 for the low for example

It's a shame that Elizabeth has to share a stage with Shadow Labrys. I like the stage but I was expecting an extra one for some dumb reason. Oh well Yu and Aigis share a stage too lol.

I like how Elizabeth sits in the air with her legs crossed. It's like Arcsys and Atlus really went out of their way to show she's not taking stuff too seriously.

Honestly I'm more interested to see where we stand as far as tiers once SBO passes since that will likely be when the balance patch hits. Hoping Yukiko gets some buff but by then she might not even need them if technology keeps being discovered at the current rate.

What are they saying makes Mitsuru S tier?

>Amazing hitboxes on nearly all her normals that far outclass most of the cast.

>Great damage output.

>Good mixup with instant overhead j.b and attack feints.

>Ridiculously stupid R action that has a hitbox on both sides and becomes a 50/50 mixup with 50 meter.

>Really good persona attacks with pretty small recovery time.

To name but a few.

I think I saw labrys's gg palate: baiken. It had pink hair, white clothes, and blackish edges in the axe

To evaluate more on this:

-She's fast.

-She's very safe.

-She's got lots of mixups.

-She has the best reach in terms of normals out of the cast.

-She has very large hitboxes on her pokes.

-She's got one of the hardest jump-ins and overheads to punish.

-Her R-Action is very quick, invincible on startup, hits on both sides of her, and combos into her most damaging super on CH.

-Her Persona attacks are very safe.

-Her Persona attacks have incredible reach.

-Her Persona attacks freeze the opponent and pull them in closer, allowing for really good rushdown setups.

-Her Persona attacks cover every direction the opponent can approach.

-Her Bufula special (Ice wall) allows for Litchi/Rachel/Makoto style oki, with a projectile.

-Her Bufula special freezes the opponent on hit.

-Her Bufula special hits multiple times, making it very useful for pressure.

-Her Bufula special has three different placements that can be used, one in front of her, which is good for zoning, one in the air, which completely stops jump ins, and one that comes from behind the opponent, that takes meter, but hits extra times.

-Her 2C is an unblockable, homing projectile that takes 14-18 SP from the opponent when it hits.

-Her 2B is an air unblockable that has incredible reach, and puts her hurtbox really close to the ground.

-Her Bufudyne super (Ice pillar) is invincible on startup, freezes the opponent, and is air unblockable.

-Her Awakening super (Mabufudyne) gives her the best mixup and rushdown opportunities in the game, because she's got six projectiles she can use to lock the opponent down and mix them up at her will. She can control when each one is fired, so she can make everything safe, and her mixups become much stronger.

-Her rushdown is very good, she can approach very easily using Coup Droit, and it's very safe when she does.

-She has very good corner carry because most of her moves send the opponent flying to the corner.

-Her damage is very, very high. With meter and the corner, she can do as much as Chie.

-Her j.A has a really long untechable time on air CH, allowing her to followup with a full combo after she lands on the ground. Making it a incredible air-to-air.

-Her j.B instant overhead has a huge hitbox, and really long reach, making it usable in a lot of situations.

I think you should be getting the picture by now. :3

I see, everything she does is really good... any links to chie-like damage combos?

I'd have to search through some videos, I'll see if I can get it for you.

The basis of it is Opener > Coup Droit B > 2A > 5B > SB Coup Droit > 5B > 2B > Ender and depending on the ender, it can get up to 6-7K damage.

That Akihiko vs Elisabeth match just won't load for me, are you guys sure there are no other mirrors of it? Maybe someone can upload it to Mediafire or something?

She looks like a pain if she goes into Awakening and spams beam super. It looks like her command throw super (?) is like Dizzy's Necro grab where you can jump over it. Also full health recover just like in P3 lol.

Oh, someone did upload it to Youtube, cool. That Akihiko has the right idea on how to beat her: she doesn't seem to have too many ways of escaping pressure, her bursts are predictable, and you can kill her before she gets enough time to cast Mediarahan. But it seems that it's gonna be a very tough fight for the zoner characters, who can get pulled towards Liz with her Maragidyne-like move.

Does anyone know if Kanji can abuse the AI like Tager could in CS? It was a walk in the park when tried him for the first time, since the AI didn't break any throws after Gadget Finger.

I like how the pages turn in her book, and she actually uses Tarot cards, too!
