thats being worked o.o? Im genuinely shocked....

Yeah, I'm currently working the tutorial ATM. I'm about 40% complete with it. Video one is almost done and Video 2 is gonna be a much easier process than Video 1.

well, in the story Jin will be trained by Juubei.

So I guess in the next installment he'll be more powerful than ever.

He is the only one who hold the power of order in the game after all. And now he gained full control of yukianesa instead of being controlled by it.

Hazama retreated without a second thought after realizing that.

let's hope this is the case lololo...

Am I right in thinking that's a lightsaber shooped into a gif of the suicidal teacher from Another?

Oh lord... that's... that's fantastic. XD Only in Japan do they turn a horror series into something hilarious.

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a comedy, like a spiritual successor to the Scary Movie films, Blood C, and Ghost Stories, all wrapped into one big pie.

Hey guys, is there any way to improve this combo? I realize the heat gain is low, but I thought it might make an (effectively) 7 heat cost carry to the corner.

j.236D > land > 66C > DC > j.C > j.214A > (delayed) fubuki > (delayed) 2C > 6C > rehhyou (3420/18)

j236D(1)/j236D(2) > 66 6C > DC > jC > j214A > *Adjust 5C/2C > 623B > 66 6C* > 623C > 5A/5B > 5C > 2C > 623C - [3992-4228/31-32]

*Edit: You can get a little bit more damage by doing "623B > Delay 2C > 6C > 623C" instead, but the extra difficulty isn't worth it, in my opinion.*

"5A/5B > 5C > 2C > 623C"

Herp, I didn't think that link would work there for some ridiculous reason.

herp derp = being stupid or forgetting something obvious

salty = mad about losing (or winning in the case of LK)

On a side note, I'm tired of failing this combo... would someone with better executionb tell me if this blue-beats or not?

5B > 5C > Sekkajin > 66C > 2D > 6B > 5C > Sekkajin > 214D > 66 3C > 623B > 214C

I keep fucking up the 623B after the 66 3C ~_~ and I just wanna know if it works.

Ok, I can't take it anymore. What the fuck does herp derp or being salty even mean?

Herp derp happens when you or someone else does something retarded.

Salty is when people get mad as hell for whatever reason, in this case, something fighting game related.

With that, I've done my share of mod work for today XD

Combo fails at "6B > 5C > Sekkajin;" Sekkajin will not fully connect. Omitting 5C, the combo fails at "623B > 214C;" 214C will not connect.

Why would you even wanna do that, Jyosua? If you were to do 6C > 214C instead of 214D you'd carry the opponent at around the same distance, minus the Heat loss.

That second 5C was a typo. But yeah the 623B > 214C was the part I thought would fail... damn.

Because I have issues sticking people in the corner and I lose matches because of it. So I've been using 214D instead of 6C > 214C and bam... people get put into the corner - after that the problem is just keeping them there long enough to confirm into a DP loop. But in the event I misjudge the distance, I woulda liked a followup to 214D.

You can do "5B > 5C > Sekkajin > 66 6C > 2D > 66 6C > Delay 214D > 6[6] > 3C > 214A > 623B > [1.) 214C] OR [2.) 66 6A > 3C > 214A/214C]," if you want more corner carry, or if you want to end in "3C > 214A."

I needa get myself a fighting game community dictionary. You people speak in riddle.

On a more related note, 6C > 214D is a bitch for me to connect.

You did put some huge effort in the combo section. I think I can speak for all the Jins here, we're grateful.

It's still a work in progress, not even I've been able to learn and apply every single combo there lol.

I know that feeling... I never really knew anything about the FG community until like November. It's like learning a separate language. ~_~

Honestly, I generally omit the 6C when I 214D since it's easier to land that way, but I think you have to delay the 214D to get 6C > 214D to work.

Also ditto on that bit about Moy.

I hit 8k damage with Jin (without using a crazy 8th hit Sekkajin starter) :toot:

Too bad the timing on this is very strict...and it uses 2 Gold Bursts...and requires a 6C CH...which means you'll probably never get to use it. Oh well, here it is (tested on Valkenhayn; I think it should work on the whole cast).

In the corner, requires about 60 heat minimum to start (30 hits with no Ice Wave holes):

[CH] 6C > DC > Gold Burst > Gold Burst > (delay*) 623C > 5B > 5C > 6C > 623C > 5B > 5C > 623B > (delay) JC > j.C > j.214A (reverse) > (delay) 5C > 2C > JC > j.D > (land, delay) 632146C > 632146C (8079)

*Timing is dependent on opponent's hitbox in the air and how far you send them up with the 2nd Gold Burst.

(EDIT: all 5B in this combo use 2 hits)

Notes:

Yes, two 5B pickups are possible in this combo, so long as you hit the opponent with your first 623C at the highest possible point and then catch them with the first 5B as high as is allowable for connecting the 5C follow-up. Also, connecting the 2x Ice Wave on Valkenhayn seems very tricky for this combo. Your spacing needs to be just right if you jump forward for j.D or you lose Ice Wave hits. You can jump straight up and j.D, then delay the 1st Ice Wave to hit him as he lands, but you are left with a very tight window to execute the 2nd Ice Wave. It may be impossible to connect the 2nd Ice Wave if you are too far away, but my execution of 2x Ice Wave isn't solid enough for me to tell for certain.
