eQualz Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Shinsyn, I love you. 6B > RC > AD stuff is awsome. Though I don't get how you do j.B > j.2C, everytime I try that j.2C whiffs 'coz j.B hits so fucking late.
shtkn Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 why would you use netplay psr to gauge any form of skill? also, i'll be mashing narukami, mitsuru, elizabeth, and maybe kanji
xlolxlolx Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 well i assumed 90%+ win rate in over 500 games would be considered something :/
Jourdal Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Well shtkn, top PSR Litchi on psn is LK, top psr ragna is SKD, number 2 psr Makoto is Omni lol, if you look at a lot of the top PSR players you'll recognize them from match videos etc. Cept that 991 guy....he's on some weird shit lol.
skd Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 927 PSR GOD 102 MATCHES get on my level ranked is horrible lol, the only reason the 3 psr gods of the east are so high is just for trolling purposes
Moy_X7 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I'll stop as soon as I get 777 PSR with both Jin and Plat lol. Just 100 more PSR with Jin.
Lucien Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I already have 0 PSR with Jin, I'm right were I want to be.
kirk Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Shinsyn, I love you. 6B > RC > AD stuff is awsome. Though I don't get how you do j.B > j.2C, everytime I try that j.2C whiffs 'coz j.B hits so fucking late. or you could just do just take out the jB and go straight to j2C > 5B(crouching only i think).. works on training, if you could try it elsewhere for me that'd be great lol
Jyosua Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Hey guys, check this out. :P Do you already know about these?
eQualz Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Well I did j.2C > j.D and it works really good online. Currently stuck at 3.7k with DP loop, haven't really tested it in training mode yet. @Jyosua - I think shtkn(spelling?) and co. were talking about it a few pages back. Might wanna check that out.
kirk Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Well I did j.2C > j.D and it works really good online. Was looking for an alternative to that, don't like the early freeze but that works well. EDIT: Is that near corner or start at corner 3.7k? Edited May 7, 2012 by kirk
Rewenger Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 EDIT: Is that near corner or start at corner 3.7k? After j.2C > j.D > 6C you can do 623B in corner and dash cancel > 623B for "near corner". So it's not much of a problem. By the way, jin is not a heavy-damaging character, so 3.7k corner loop is good enough if you ask me.
Jyosua Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) @Jyosua - I think shtkn(spelling?) and co. were talking about it a few pages back. Might wanna check that out. Ah right, I knew the 6B > Ice Car > Rapid thing sounded familiar. Shtkn was talking about crossing up using 6B > Ice Car > Rapid > j.D but I noticed that you can do much more off that idea. You can crossover and airdash towards the opponent while throwing an air normal overhead. Additionally, if the opponent knows you'll crossover, if you air dash as soon as you rapid, you can stop yourself from crossing over and throw out an ice sword of some form. At first I thought the 75 heat needed for using j.236D as ambiguous mixup was terrible, but I considering you can get a corner combo off a midscreen j.236D starter, it's really not all that bad! On a side note, with the following combo: 6C > *(Delayed)DP B > 66 C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 6C > DP C > 5A > 5C > 2C > sj.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > [1)3C > 214C] or [2)5C > 3C > 214Ax2] (5522 or 5506/65 or 64) I noticed it's really easy to get it working if you throw in a 5C early on and do 6C > DP B > dash > 5C > 6C > DP C but am I just bad at execution, or does that break the combo at the sj.D? Edited May 7, 2012 by Jyosua
Moy_X7 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Not only does it break the combo at sj.D but the final amount of damage that you get from doing a DP loop variation is much less than the original. Practice it, it's not a hard combo really. Might as well get as much damage as possible off of a Guard Crush. Although, close to the corner you might really have to opt for a variation and I need to add one of these to the thread: 1. 6C > DC > 214A > 44 2C > 6C > DP B > 66 6C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 2C > sj.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > 5C > 3C > 214C (5318/66) 2. 6C > DC > DP B > 6B > 214A > 44 5C > 2C > 6C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 2C > sj.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > 3C > 214C (5234/65) The second one is slightly easier than the first one and looks way more stylish lol.
Jyosua Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I'm just really bad at 66C after DP B. Though that second combo looks fun, lol.
kirk Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 2. 6C > DC > DP B > 6B > 214A > 44 5C > 2C > 6C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 2C > sj.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > 3C > 214C (5234/65) The second one is slightly easier than the first one and looks way more stylish lol. 6b ch variation? lol 6B CH > 6C > DC > DP B > 6B > 214A > 44 5C > 2C > 6C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 2C > sj.D >66 5B > 5C > 3C > 214C (5255/65)
Moy_X7 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 lol, I'm surprised that a 6B CH starter does more damage than a 6C starter.
eQualz Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 You really like the 623B > 6B > 214A, huh? @kirk - I got it wrong actually. Standard DP loop does 3.8k off j.2C > j.D starter in the corner. Here are two variatons with slightly more damage: j.2C > j.D starter: 1.) 6C > 623B > (66)2C (or delayed) > 6C > 623C > 5B > 5C > 2C > 623C = 3.9k damage 2.) 6C > DC > 623B > 66 6C > DC > 5C > 6C > 623C > 5A > 5C > 2C > 623C = 3.9k damage (slightly more damage, can also be used near corner) Yeah, I don't really like early freeze either. You could delay the j.2C and omit j.D, you're right, but that leaves them more time to react to it. Guess I'm going to stick with j.2C > j.D. Maybe you guys can come up with a better combo? I also tried the 6C > 214A and 6C > 623B > 6B variants but the combo seems to drop at the 5B/5A pick up.
kirk Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 If you do j2C > 5b on crouching you could get 4k. but yeah more time to react
Jyosua Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) FYI, I'm working on transferring Moy's formatting and combo list to the wiki. It'll look pretty much exactly the same. Edit: I finished. The combo section of the Wiki is complete. Edited May 7, 2012 by Jyosua
eQualz Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) BBR Block B Jin action, anyone figure out the name of these two? vs Arakune (first match) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cplwJIzoH9c Eruo vs Platinum (first match) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01K1YHyCceM Them poor Jins =( Edited May 10, 2012 by eQualz
Jyosua Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Agh, why is tsubaki's crouching hitbox so small? 6B>236C results in the ice sword passing over her head and 6B> Ice Car does the same... why must she foil my blockstrings? D:
