Moy_X7 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 It's not looking too good for Jin. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that 5C pushes the opponent back into the corner after 5B, so trying to do the 5B corner cross-up with 5B > 5C will most likely not work. Here's to hoping that IAD j.236D shenanigans still work because if it they don't then Jin is pretty much fucked when it comes to mix-up lol. JC j.2C > j.C can only take you so far and his overhead still requires meter to be useful. That and he lost his consistent, anywhere damage. Definitely not looking good for him, we'll just have to wait and see what Japan can do with this new Jin.
mAc Chaos Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 jin becoming hakumen faster than expected
Moy_X7 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 What? Did Hakumen get hit hard by the nerf bat too?
Moy_X7 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 lol, those Drive nerfs sound hilarious. Hey at least you still have TK/hop Tsubaki lol.
eQualz Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 You can still jc 5B on hit, right? At least you can still attempt a reset and with Sekka D-follow we still have a nice side swap if you're willing to spend meter. Stop being so pessimistic
Moy_X7 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Neveeeeeeer I gotta say that I'm curious as to how much use Sekkajin gets in this iteration. Just a few more days.
Nemesis Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I am actually quite interested in that also moy~~ Jin was my original main back in CT (just cant drop this guy! too much fun!) I actually never learned his sekkajin till late CS (1or2 i dunno) So what was its use back in CT? Granted CT was the literal beginning of my "competitive" fighting game "career"
Moy_X7 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 The 5C > Rising j.B loop didn't work on Rachel and Bang, so you'd have to use Sekkajin against them.
Antitidus Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 What I'm looking forward to the most is 5C into Tiger Knee hizangeki
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Man, I just hope that Hizansen counts as an overhead. I haven't seen Hizangeki in action yet.
xlolxlolx Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 2nd hit of ex ver supposed to be a high so......maybe an ok overhead for 25 meter? :DDDD
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I'll have to see it in action before I make any judgments.
xlolxlolx Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 lets just pray hes not as garbage as he seems so far lol
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 We'll find out soon enough. If Hizangeki turns out to be a decent overhead option then I will cry tears of joy.
Jourdal Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 From what i heard from JBBS/Stunedge he was looking quite good. But in jin forums its all doom and gloom...I suppose I'm used to this by now though.
ShelledMenace Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Man, as soon as I see footage of em, whether it's bad or good, I'm going to get really hype. And really damn sad. Though on that point I'm not really worrying about Jin not being at least solid. I mean it's Jin, has he ever really not been? SO CLOSE e_e
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 It's a tradition, before every new iteration we bitch and moan as to how Jin is changing for the worse until we see him in action and then we're ok with it lol My biggest hopes right now are TK Hizangeki turning out to be a decent overhead option and 236[D] oki in the corner.
zephyr07 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 http://blazblue.jp/cp/chara_jin.html 2nd picture: OD yukikaze?
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Looks like it. I don't remember having Jin face the opponent after tagging them with the original Yukikaze.
Jourdal Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 It's a tradition, before every new iteration we bitch and moan as to how Jin is changing for the worse until we see him in action and then we're ok with it lol My biggest hopes right now are TK Hizangeki turning out to be a decent overhead option and 236[D] oki in the corner. Except CS2.....there was a joke that Mori developed a crush on jin because all we were getting was buffs lol. I'm not worried...just excited...if not we can all jump on the Bullet Train . Or since Jins not gay for Ragna anymore we play Amane~ the new ice has grown on me don't shoot me Moy <3
Moy_X7 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 CSII da bes. Yeah, I've grown to like the ice effect too. I'm temporarily hopping on the meat head train (Azrael) and the character which we know almost nothing about (Izayoi). From then I'll just wait for Saya.
Jyosua Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 (edited) So, looking at this: It looks like for the ice car series, you press C to make the followup come out after you've cancelled it? We already knew about this, right? It's been a while so I don't recall. We'll find out soon enough. If Hizangeki turns out to be a decent overhead option then I will cry tears of joy.
