Do you know what the 214B/C (C *moonrunes*) means?

Looks like :cbt:で追撃可 means "C available in pursuit", which sounds like a followup to me.

After posting that, I did some research and 追撃可 is the term Japan uses when speaking about move followups. The で prefix means you can do it using the preceding input.

So I guess we really should assume that "push C for follow-ups" is what they meant by those moonrunes lol.

I think Moy locked this one originally, because of BBCP coming out. I imagine he figured it would be better if there weren't 123523975834758923 pages of non-Chrono Phantasm content.

This was my original idea, to keep track of stuff.

Anyways, I'm gonna change the thread title to "gameplay discussion" and the thread will be strictly dedicated to gameplay talk. This one will be more lenient, any Jin/BB related talk is welcome here.

Jin is not one of the more difficult characters to learn so it will make sense. It's sad to know that we're all going to be doing beginner ABC > Ice Car combos mid-screen without meter though lol.

By the way, for those who don't know, AHs no longer require a Burst and seeing how Jin can build meter pretty well with 214B > C... AH awl dei errdei

I'm guessing that Jin's mid-screen, meterless combos are pretty much settled (unless OD comes into play). ABC > Ice Car is the standard, 6C > 2D > [j.2C > j.C] or [66 6B] > ABC > Ice car for crouching/CH confirms and 5C > 2C > j.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > ABC > Ice Car for anti-air confirms.

Come to think of it, maybe we can use 214B as some sort of pseudo dash cancel for 6C. Probably not on ground but maybe on air hit? Lemme dream god dammit.

I highly doubt it, even in the corner, 6C > 214B is not guaranteed if the opponent gets juggled too high prior to that cancel. By the time you recover from 214B, the opponent will already had teched lol

My other dream is that we can micro dash a 5A off a close 22C and have the 66 5A link from the 22C stagger. Dreams are only that though, settle with your easy-mode combos lol.

^it's so simple..., I am sad.

I hope there's a more complex more damaging options. oh well

I know the feeling...but at least we won't have a ton of position specific combos to keep track of like in CS:EX...at least I don't think we will.
