Yeah, All the sudden everyone wants to use Mu. It's astounding. I kind of stopped using Mu alot because NOBODY on netplay ever picks her. I get no inspiration unless i lose with every other character. As a result i probably suck alot more than i should with her.

I hope she isn't going to be the new Noel. Because then i will never touch her again.

2 of my Friends wanted to "Sub" her, But then left her because they couldn't grasp Steins. They now both Main Hakumen.

Nothing wrong with picking high tiers and shit, But it really get's annoying. I might pick up Bang again, I loved him in CS1 (I was shit at the game. He didn't count as a Tierwhore) But in CS2 he was straight Garbage.

Yup, That went off on a tangent. Hyped for CSE, It's taking too long, Though.

Mu is never going to be just as easy to use as for example CS1 and CS:EX bang, CS2 noel, CS2 Jin, CS1 ragna. I am sure people will drop her after finding out that they don't know to take advantage of her huge range normals that needs some proper spacing, proper steinplacement, oki setups and they will drop her soon enough for characters like bang or hakumen. Also Tager and Ragna doesn't seem to be much different in CS:EX and they were never that hard to use

Don't worry Mu will always be that "She Exists?" character solely because people on netplay would rather mash with Ragna, churn with Tager or derp with Noel instead of set Steins.

I'd rather guard point with Bang.

I'm just saying.

Let me know when that works in tournament.

I was trying to learn Mu since CS1 so it isn't the first time I used her online.

I seem to be having a problem though. I'm playing her too much like Lambda and I'm trying to break out of this habit. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do? I've been playing Lambda for so long that it seems tough to adjust to Mu. I have been working on her corner combos and started to get much better combo-wise. It's just her general movement I'm having problems with.

Mu plays the superiority game, she can just straight truck on people. Be aggressive in all aspects of your gameplay, and be on point when it comes to capitalizing on openings or hitconfirms. Defensive skills are good, but you only need to stay alive as long as it takes to kill them. In terms of movement, once Habayaa is out feel free to move with it, as it will completely protect you from everything while it's out so long as you're inside of it. Abuse long reaching pokes such as 2b, chaining into 2c on block to IAD or to gain a positional advantage.

Well, that's pretty sound advice. I've been thinking about using an alternate account to practice. Be aggressive, right.

Goddamn, the snow puts me off the grid for 4 days, and NPG is dead. It's probably for the best though.

I guess it will be more Mu and Mu accessories from now on.

Mu is the kinda character people think is easy "Just mash lasers!" then once they get past the scrubs who don't know whats going on, they'll get blown up again and again and realize she's complicated. I get a lot of "Lol no one plays Mu..." in my scene. Her usage rate on the cabinets is only higher than Arakune and Carl...and I'm pretty damn sure that percentage is all me. xD

On psn i haven't seen too many Mu players (i think i saw cryingvoid as the only mu player last week, but then he switched back to taokaka).

I did see an abudance of Ragna, Tager and Bang players last weekend.

Before my condo net no longer allowed me to go on psn.

I see...pretty much 90% Noel , 10% everything else.

and I don't think I've fought another Mu except for this one guy.

Then again I rarely go on psn anyway :\

So am I the only person that doesn't run into random Hazamas and Ragnas online? I'm getting EVERYONE ELSE.

Really? At least I can get close and hit Noel.

yeah.

I mean, it kind of gets irritating I drop combos, but them Noels just spam drives everywhere and still don't get blue beats ;___;
