Wtf? How can you break a pad per month?

I've had the same two pads for the past 3 years, and they're still like new. I've played e'm to hell and back, too.

I'm using modded oryginal Sega Saturn gamepad for bb. Sticks got nuthin' on me yo, best dpad in existence.

My pad was brand new and now my Downback just makes me fart out 6Ds and ruins every half circle move I do. It's really infuriating.

whoever says they get better can kiss my ass.

I'm on my 3rd pad, the first two the analog stick started tearing and sticking. I was going to be getting a stick for CSX, but I kinda need a job first.

Being pad player is suffering.

I still think the Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro is the best pad on PS3. Im currently using the new Madcatz MLG Pro Circuit pad. I don't know if im going to stick with it as I don't like the shoulder buttons on it but everything else of the pad is very well built.

I'm a pad player and I consistently place in my community's BB tournaments. I don't have much desire to learn stick, even though I actually own one. I've just always been more comfortable with a controller in my hands than a stick, maybe because I didn't grow up playing fighting games on an arcade cabinet. Oh, and unlike most people, I actually prefer the analog stick to the D-Pad. Call me crazy if you'd like.

seriously it doesnt matter the reason why you use pad or how unique(or crazy) playstyle you use.i mean it is sucks or fun is up to you and here you are in a thread to share how fun(or sucks) your experienced using a pad

I broke in my pink DS3 so much that I do get accidental inputs sometimes. Other than that, I never thought I'd see myself pulling off 5k and 6k combos with Mu on a pad. :sweatdrop:

Will always be a pad warrior.

Looks like I need to buy a new DS3, since my blue one is acting up and going lol random inputs whenever I shake it even slightly (and hear stuff moving inside... ._.). Either way, I may buy a new one for Extend. This one only lived for a few months I think, compared to the one I got with the PS3 when it came out. Must be because I'm a butterfingers and I have crappy luck

i use macros for throws and rapids

im a bad person

I use macros for pretty much everything... Bursts, OS Throw + Rapid, Barrier, and Throws. The sad thing is that I've used all the buttons on my DS3 and don't have any left for taunts lol.

You should still have L3/R3 available.

The only reason I would ever consider playing stick is to make myself some pretty artwork for it

but I have been and always will be a pad warrior, my BB pad lasted me since CT and it still works but I've been using my PS2 pad (with converter) because I remember wanting to use it for Next Level but I never went lol

I have 2 more PS3 pads ready to go in case this one dies

3 reasons I can think of for getting stick:

Artwork

Easy to switch out buttons / joystick

You can play in arcades

The rest are all kinda arguable (playing on a wired pad, converters, pad mileage varies, etc.). Not to mention Wolfkrone plays on pad. It's just that the majority of the best players in the world play on stick.

Button layout is different (and imo more easily accessible) on stick than pad, and the fact that you use more of your arm on a stick can help with control...

If you press A+B+C+D, you will rapid and automatically do a D move, so you can't rapid that way unless you want a D move.

This is true, but you might get a burst as well if you whiff the move, last thing you wanna do is burn one of those by accident.

This is me as well. DualShock allows you to use L3 and R3, you can taunt with one of those.

I'm a pad warrior myself, but sadly, I am learning stick to be competative on the X-Box. I don't see how you X-Box guys do it on that thing, I played CT on it and though I was winning, that pad has caused me frustrating moment playing BlazBlue. Kudo's to you guys who do it.

Dualshock is good for me. Never played stick, mostly because I can't afford it. Where I live there is so little people playing blaz (or fighting games in general), and as far as I know only one player owns a stick.

Been a pad warrior since I was a kid to now and proud of it. I tried the stick, but it wasn't for me. Pad is easier, light, and more convenient to carry around, and less costly than a stick.
