Since Makoto is free to most people in neutral anyways, I was seeing if having a one button DP would make my defense better. Plinking Special (DP) and then Throw in reaction to overheads will DP any overhead and tech any throw if they grabbed you before the DP comes out. It was actually working pretty well once I got used to it. People get hella scared of the DP and only use lows/end blockstrings really early. The bad thing is that people become the biggest assholes they possibly can the instant you pick stylish. They go out of their way to taunt you or try to astral you, and are wayyyy more disrespectul until you DP them a couple of times. People just run up and 5B/5C you, thinking "Well this person is using stylish mode, they are obviously retarded." This made it really frustrating to get used to, considering all of my inputs are changed in stylish. I have still only played like 20 matches using stylish Mak though. I can't tell you how many times I've seen "Wha?" in the quick message thing. They should have a quick text thing for SHUT THE FUCK UP I KNOW I'M USING STYLISH MODE.

I kinda figured out you were doing it on purpose the second time you did it. (The first time, I uh... didn't entirely notice until I realized you had no bursts.) I confess I did start messing around a little bit once I realized what was going on. >.>

Oh well. It did give a chance to work on those DP punish combos that I rarely get a chance to use... You DP a lot on accident. Everytime my reactions tell me to 5C or j.C I get a Shoryuken instead. This sometimes resulted in me baiting a DP and then punishing with...a DP. I also DP'd during my own blockstrings sometimes. Edited July 25, 2013 by Dark Ranger88

I doubt there are even 5 people on XBL who really know how to use Stylish characters proficiently enough to be called skilled. People should just wait for BBCP, where Stylish got hella buffed \ o/

Any idea how it works? I've heard that it's been "improved" and clearly, these are very much improvements, but like... how do the controls work? Has there been any info? And yeah, DarkRanger; I noticed that there were some DPs in places where it's like "Why would you....?"
