Thunderbolt > Don't want to sound mean, but you're skittering around the stage and parrying with D isn't working. I think that's been proven well during and after our 10th match.

Not really with Arakune (D shoots him in the air so he can't spew curse gas).

In Tager's case, sledge blocks the bits and charges at you. Though the counter low attack worked to some level

1. Deal with rushdown
   
2. Tech any kind of grab
   
3. Find people nearer my skill level. That is to say, I would like to find people who aren't only "people I destroy" (e.g. paraplegics, newbies < 2 weeks) and "people who destroy me" (i.e. everyone else).
   
4. Use any other character

block and mash 2A or 5A after they finish their blockstring (EVERY character has a basic blockstring, the only time you make screw up is during a frame trap or Rapid cancel. but looks at vids of characters you don't fight often to see their options

don't even bother because half of the grabs are inescapable online. you just need to utilize them on your own

what's your skill? I have all sorts of players on my FL that can help you

Use any other character

Use Carl. He's fun and you can use his most basic combos to perfect some of the "better" players on xbl. Plus he's versatile which makes it sun to use him and only him (which can't be said for most of the cast since they can get boring to use after a while). If he's too hard use Relius. If you don't like either of them then stick with your main

Biggest piece of advice is to watch others play, and watch yourself play. Use the replay feature, it will greatly enhance what you do. See what you did wrong and try to correct it, then see if it's better second go around.
