My training mode percentage is only marginally better.It took me several weeks-month to do Makoto Mission 8.Seriously, I spent like, three+ months doing nothing but drills (and I mean basic stuff like 5A>5B>3C>22D--you wouldn't believe how long I struggled with that and to some degree still do) before playing people. I'm still running periodic drills on the simple stuff because I can't get it down consistently.The SW input (regardless if it's 1 or 3 in a particular context) and I especially don't see eye-to-eye.I still can't do the mission in SSFIV where you do h.DP>FADC>h.DP>FADC>h.DP with Ken (and this is pretty bad when Ken + Blanka are pretty much the only two characters I want to play in that game). But enough of me crying about being terrible. I just wish I didn't have to put on my Tryhardiest pants in order to have a non-zero chance versus people who are pretty much throwing out whatever they want. Sounds like me, only I've been playing longer, so I've had more opportunity to beat this stuff into my recalcitrant hands. We should have a low-execution tier throwdown. :P

Catch the hint pls... --------------- @noNombre Listen buddy - we've all been thru probably something close to what your talking about, I know for a long time I had alot of issues with combo timing and online( and recently offline) application. Even after playing the game for a year + and with the arrival of CS1 I could barely do half the ragna/Jin missions... And personally I know everyone like everyone talks about mu-12 combos as stupid easy but Ive thought for a long time they were pretty hard and opted for really less optimal stuff. The secret really is just persistence - and I don't mean countless hours in training mode I mean persist in enjoying the game and your mind will open up or become ready for new heights on its own schedule - sometimes you can hyperbolic time chamber your progress - others well... Why didn't you two just do u-12 mirrors and show SomeoneWhodied the combos/setups. Thats why I picked u-12 for awhile but was told to switch back to Hakumen for Exp. I know Nemi wanted to use Lambda though so yeah. GGs though

Nemesis Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I wouldn't say netplay is all that different IMO - really the difference is if you use a really HQ low lag monitor - that will make or break anything I fought all kinds of offline warriors and I can't say they are any better than the good players online - it's just unpopular to say it out loud

I'm planning on attending EVO next year to hit up the inevitable Chrono Phantasma (and who knows maybe we'll get Guilty Gear Xrd as well). I got a whole year to practice! Congrats on 2nd, btw. You're a beast.
