Kujikawa Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Might as well name them all. God I miss the PS1 so freaking much sometimes. Heck I still play my PS2 like all the time. Did anyone here play Sly? If so, you gunna' get the new one?
Fistmaster049 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Threads of Fate, Earthbound, Fire Emblem, Star Ocean 1, Tales of Eternia, Parasite Eve 1 and 2, Zelda games. All I can think of atm. oh yes, can't believe I forgot Chrono Trigger, I feel dirty Threads of fate? never heard of it, any good? also the Zelda series aren't rpgs :O
Adam0812 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 And symm, never played a sly game im ashamed to say, but the new one doesn't look the best. I've got jak hd collection and ratchet hd collection as well as all 3 ps3 ratchet games installed on my ps3 that I need to play!
HexaNoid Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Why does no-one ever mention Radiant Historia when they talk about good RPGs? :<
Errol Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Why are you guys talking about this stuff in the Tales of Thread?
Kanashimi Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Lolwut. I was being serious, sometimes I feel like I haven't improved at all recently. I never really tried out that bubble cross - up oki I made up in training. Don't you mean EX Bubble after j.HS as an air combo ender?
Darret_Wallace Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Terranigma fuck yes, anybody who hasn't played this, do it now.
InWithTheAshes Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) Don't you mean EX Bubble after j.HS as an air combo ender? No, rather, 2D knock - down into 2147P (Horizontal tigerknee bubble.), IAD J.2S (Misses, but pops bubble, which is intended to hit opponent after wake - up.), IAD backwards J.2S to mix -up. Although, J.H ender to 214D might actually work. Although J.D rather than H would probably be better (Slightly more damage, more time for the bubble to attach to you, and I don't believe that J.H gives knock - down at the hieght of Dizzy's aircombos (J.D definitely doesn't.).) Perhaps I shall try it tomorrow. Edited February 23, 2013 by InWithTheAshes

Try it it works, it's good as an ender but dash j.D into EX Bubble applies into a good blockstring but that's if you want to spend meter and j.D can whiff but it allows you to force a high block but again it's up to up and it's not all that safe but the reward is a good set of options on hit. Nhur Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Hi people,I would like to make some little questions: I was thinking in moving to UK some weeks. and later if I am lucky maybe I will stay some years on there, but before of that, I am interested where the scene is active or if are any famous and active arcades. I remember that was a post in SRK talking about this but I cant found the post. Thanks in advance!!!

So most of us are mostly online players however the two major scenes I can think of are in London - Holders one of our bigger scenes and Astral Heat which Kiba or Hex can tell you more about. Next would be in Birmingham where BB and GG aren't as popular but still a good scene. I'm not as well informed as other memebers on here so if you have any more questions or you would like anymore information, I would recommand asking the other memebers on here.

Zoular Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Hi people,I would like to make some little questions: I was thinking in moving to UK some weeks. and later if I am lucky maybe I will stay some years on there, but before of that, I am interested where the scene is active or if are any famous and active arcades. I remember that was a post in SRK talking about this but I cant found the post. Thanks in advance!!! Hi man, welcome. We don't have much arcades in UK, one that I know that is more catered to fighters is Casino in Goodge Street, London. There are others for mainly DDR machines and such like Las Vegas in Soho, London and Tracadero, Piccadilly, London. BlazBlue/Persona4/Guilty Gear players in UK (bringing in EU) are keeping in touch on this page http://www.facebook.com/groups/126389947472883/ NeoEmpire.com is down, but a few new fighting game forums are in the work. Astral Heat been running for a year, based in London http://www.facebook.com/AstralHeat Birmingham has a scene and active players, Bristol quite small, and other players/regions are just too spread out really. London obviously has the most. So most of us are mostly online players however the two major scenes I can think of are in London - Holders one of our bigger scenes and Astral Heat which Kiba or Hex can tell you more about.Who the hell is he!?

HexaNoid Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Who the hell is he!? Don't worry, Zoular. I'll be down on the 2nd to remind you. :bad: This one guy that "plays" BB sometimes.. I don't like those inverted commas you got going around the word play there.
Daedron Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Anyone who hasn't bought MGR (and beaten it yet) should go OUT RIGHT NOW. GO GO GO GO GET ITTTTTTTTT.

London obviously has the most. It's painful to hear the fact ;_; Sodium Showdown has stopped (Only one I know and went to in Bristol) so no Arc games there sadly. Only this mid week event goes on now but no Arc Games sadly >_> If I catch word Hokuto No Ken is there though, I'll go down just for that game. That was really fun even though I didn't have a clue what I was doing xD I wish Sodium would come back for BB. Edited February 23, 2013 by gamester
Mr OSD Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Anyone who hasn't bought MGR (and beaten it yet) should go OUT RIGHT NOW. GO GO GO GO GET ITTTTTTTTT. You beat me to it. Anyone remotely interested in action games should buy this asap. The bossfights take godlikeness to another level, especially Monsoon. That was the best boss I EVER fought. And the Jetstream Sam fight. SO. FUCKING. GOOD.
Zoular Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Sorry Gamester what I should of said is Brighton is small, and Bristol is weak, but still has an active scene and with Zen United being so close they've always been there for support and prizes. Don't worry, Zoular. I'll be down on the 2nd to remind you. :bad: I'd love that dude, but unfortunately they'll be some sad news regarding that date
