AC command lists don't have names, only inputs. All the menus are English though.

GG has had move names in the japanese versions since X. It is the same here. Look at the top-right of the command list.

The US 360 version has the move names, albeit in Japanese, and I assume the NA PSN release will be the same. I guess it's better than a mysterious blank space above all of the inputs lol.

Yep, you'll only see the moves list entirely like this on the Top Right in red (or Top Left in yellow for EX)...

Just to confirm whether I'm crazy or not, but to anyone who got the Japanese PSN release, does the "Character" and "Random" BGM select disappear if you try to manually select your music? Really weird.

Either clear one Story Mode path for any character, beat their Black version in Survival, or beat all 25 missions.

So I'm playing the PS3 version on an old TV because my HDTV has shitty lag. I want to get rid of the side bars and just play it old school style, but I have not found a way to do so. The best I can do is just make the side bars black and have it on max zoom but it still doesn't take up the whole screen. Is there no way to do this or am I just retarded? I find it odd that the console version does not have this option since the arcade version of R, in fact, does.

Just dissabled UPnP and I still get the same "Could not join room. The room no longer exists." message every time I try to play someone on ranked from a search. blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

In all fairness, most of the matches I have played were pretty playable, its just a problem of being hard to find a match. I also just encountered a glitch where after the match it showed the wrong win loss statistics for me (like WAY off)

So far I've played some Japanese players with ranging connections but my connection to other people on the EC was great.

I have over 100 matches played now, and I find the netplay to be fantastic. Given I have only played against other people in Sweden and mr.norway Nattak, but it is still very good against Rank 4 connections.

I do recommend some strats for playing against people though. If you want to play against a friend or something, one of you make a game, and just leave all settings off and hope nobody hops in. You could try connection quality on or something idk. And then the other guy just spams search until you find eachother. If it doesn't work you might wanna swap it around cause the lobby sucks ass.

Inviting is/was almost impossible and it usually results in shitty connections even with players who you usually have good connections with.

I picked up a 19" 4:3 CRT monitor (Samsung 955DF) for $20 to play AC+ on new consoles. There are still sidebars, but if you play in 720p widescreen, turn the sidebars black, stretch and zoom the image, you can cut your wasted screen space by over 2/3. Might want to give this a shot if you want a bit more screen space.
