I couldn't really gauge most players' skill back then since I wasn't good, but I can't really say I remember anyone good. CS2 I started fighting some decent people like halfway through and found out about DL. And Extend..... I'm trying lol. @Mash: I'm kinda jelly then. Your 1 year > me. I lurked Dustloop for about 2 years before I started posting, because I was nervous. Also GGs last night to Zeromus, Jason900, ElixeralDeath(I think?) and sevvycakes, I felt like I was actually playing good that night, instead of doing stupid shit the whole time. Chris Chaos Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Speaking from my experience, I'm one of those guys that's gotta grind the game to get good. I didn't get recognized as a strong player up until the end of CT. All before that I was mad free, I played a lot of fighters in my day but SFIV (Vanilla) was my first serious fighter and that didn't last long. I moved on to BB and I had to work my ass off to get where I did then. It takes a long time for me to get good at any fighter but I approach every match up as smartly as possible. I learned by watching what other Jin players did to me and improvised from that. I did really well in CS2 to the point I almost made it out if my pool, I was literally 1 match away from being in top 32 winners and I blew it because of my Tournament inexperience (EVO11 was my first tournament) but I learned from it and leveled up. In the end, everyone is different and have different ways of learning, anyone can get to a high level it just depends on the person's drive to get better and how soon they can find their niche.

Overheads are like a basic fundamental of fighting games. I know what an overhead is Zeth. I just don't use them as often as I should.
