The rest however taught me a lesson. That lesson is to NOT play on the HD TV and to get a pad that doesn't do random jumps.

You need to block in general. I don't think there was a single mixup you blocked and a single pressure string you didn't try to mash out of. You got me with supers and DPs many times when I dropped my combos. And that's why I started purple grabbing you because I knew you were never going to tech them cause you're too busy thinking about which button to mash next.

Sometimes I like to just see how long I can block and see what kind mixup the opponent likes to do. Then next time, you're prepared for it and can try and hit them out of it at the right time instead of just going in blind. But that probably won't be so easy against someone who's way above you already anyway. It's still a good habit to have, and you should try it against some of the players closer to your level. Eventually you'll have a defense that makes people wondering how they're supposed to touch you.
