Then her "brother" starts to post after that, and happens to play the same character. Right....

We live in the same house. I work full time and go to school full time. Since that's the only character she knows that's the one she taught me. And actually If you bother to look at my profile you would have noticed I have been a DL member long before my sister. No wonder she thinks most of you guys are dicks. This place sometimes reeks of sarcasm and disdain. Even when saying good games.

Edit: I'm still at the coffee shop so I have a few before my next class. I just wanted to point out a few things about this thread that I'v noticed over the years. First No one here both offline and online is beyond reproach when it comes to raging on a VIDEO GAME. Everyone has done it at least once in their life and if not your a lier . Why do I know this? Same reason I know everyone here has at least masterbaited once. 2nd And this is the most important part I kind of know why the barrier to entry to BB was and still is very hard for new comers. It's not the game , its the people. Playing BB online is like playing with children. They get so mad over the most dumbest crap. I can't tell you how many times I'v been kicked over something I don't even know about. Maybe instead of calling people out (which is what I see every time I check out my latest post) you guys should actually try to help people who either can't play correctly or is having a hard time playing.

Mostly Saturdays. That's when I have time off from work. I'm so rusty though lol I don't think I'll be much of a challenge. I get what your saying though fang. Still the way these people bash my sis like that when they don't even know her it's kind of messed up. I see the messages she gets on PSN and it breaks my heart. listen as much as i dont like getting into conversations like thses ill give you some sounds advice, because im old and im going to be a father soon.

look most of the internet, gaming community or what have you are pretty young, they (a good majority not all of them)havent reached the level of maturity to just say fuck it.

why should you get mad at growing teenagers who are safe behind their monitors at their parents home? you cant do anything about it and even if you could why would you?

its like getting mad at a 4 year old for calling you stupid. usually most adult wont get angry.

treat them as you treat children until they learn to grow up. most of them are struglling with something be it irl or in this game.

you want to protect your sister, family bonds are a beautiful thing tbh, but you must also remember some of this she brought on herself from her own (premeditated or otherwise) actions. she must learn to accept her mistakes, and this community needs to learn how to drop situations.

you are her brother, you should know when to protect and when to let her fight her own battles, and when to let things go.

currently shes a tree in the wind, a storm, its chipping at her like it does many who cant bend and twist with it, so she will eventually be worn down and crack or break.

she needs to learn to bend with the wind like grass, not stand against it like a tree.

That's the thing Fang,I know all this and It's not like I know how she is sometimes. But she really is a nice person once you get to know her. She's just had to deal with a lot of BS over the years because of her disability. She always thinks she has to show people how strong she is when all I think she really wants is to be accepted. LOL the stories I could tell you.... there was this one kid one time who touched her ass at a party...... lets just say his left hand has gotten a lot stronger since then lol But I think we have been off topic long enough. I know how the mods are really sensitive about this sort of thing. So yea Saturday If your on. Just send me a message and I'll play you the next time I'm on.

I'll leave the rest alone but this is absolutely false. I don't know where people seemed to get that idea, but 9 times out of 10 people are almost always helpful to those that want to learn.

Star-Demon is the perfect example of both of these cases (Getting called out/People trying to help). Nearly everyone was nothing but helpful to him, COUNTLESS times, prior to him earning his "reputation". Then what really irked me at least is when he made some posts talking about how the community wasn't welcoming new players and if they weren't good enough they shouldn't be playing. This was AFTER numerous people gave him advice, myself included. But guess what, even after all that even when I personally said I was done trying to "help" him, I still try to give him advice about stuff in general because I'm not that bad of a person.

Don't lump the whole group together when there are only a select few who legitimately have nothing useful to say to people. As for the other stuff, people have earned their reputations themselves, that's all I'll say.

Just recently there was some Ragna player in one of the player rooms (can't remember who's it was, maybe you or TDs?) and he had a low level and didn't seem to know what he was doing. He lost to whoever was hosting then left almost immediately. I sent him a message titled "Help" and mentioned he should go to dustloop if he wanted help learning the game. The reply back was "Why". I didn't say anything back to that.

I think this is almost as bad as people who play Lambda & Tao.

lol I remember one post I was reading where the guy was like MAN THIS FUCKER ON RANKED SUCKED and then he posted and the response was WHOA I DIDN'T KNOW YOU GO TO DUSTLOOP and suddenly everything was better.

That's pretty much how it is in every group and with people you know VS people you don't. You like the people in the group more than the people outside of the group. It's pretty much impossible to censor yourself about every possible person who might be possibly offended.

Besides, most of the time when people get trashed it's because they did something retarded.
