Tao dittos can be fun depending on the time you do it. I personally wouldn't do it EVERYDAY, but once in a blue moon is fine. @Zeth: You play Bang...how much more power do you need? zeth07 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 As bad as Lambda vs Bang? In my personal opinion as I've mentioned previously, I think Lambda vs. Bang is slightly in Lambda's favor or even. But there's no doubt in my mind Taokaka vs. Bang is in Tao's favor. So maybe the difference is the same, but Lambda is questionable while Tao seems without a doubt. But that's just my opinion so it doesn't mean much.

And actually If you bother to look at my profile you would have noticed I have been a DL member long before my sister. No wonder she thinks most of you guys are dicks. This place sometimes reeks of sarcasm and disdain. Even when saying good games. sigh. This is probably a terrible idea, but I'm going to try to explain what happened. I had a 4 player room open. It was up for a pretty long time, and eventually MGJ joined. We played a handful of matches and nothing noteworthy happened. Then, one particularly one-sided round happens where I used GF and caught her with a bunch of 360B purple throw counters until she died. I didn't really think anything of it until she sent me a message about it on PSN, and it was basically downhill from there. For the record, I know that she has played since CT and I had expected her view on the game to have improved by this point. So yes, I was quite blindsided as well as amused by her reactions. Things might have been different if MGJ had asked me for suggestions, or even just said she didn't know what else to do. I would've tried to help her in that case. But that's not what happened. Instead, she started acting smug with me, and dismissed my playing as scrub tactics without any attempt to understand my reasoning behind it or the fact that it was working. I even tried to explain to her that those purple throws only work if she tries to jab me. She ignored me and decided to nitpick the point about her jabbing, even though it was obvious she was trying to do SOMETHING and purple throw counters don't happen for no reason. After that, she kept carrying on and on about how I didn't respect her shit (oh the irony) and it was like talking to a brick wall. I can't speak on behalf of others. I've spent plenty of time playing with people who are completely new to the game and doing my best to point out mistakes as they come up in game, as well as pointing them to matchup threads and stuff. I don't have a problem with MGJ for playing like a scrub or whatever other people say. My problem is with her attitude. I'm willing to help people as long as they show an interest in learning. But the impression I got from MGJ is that she treats BB like a glorified pissing contest, and I frankly have no patience for that. I don't care if you're God's gift to fighting games; don't try to lecture ME and say the way I'm playing is wrong if you're getting blown up by it. That's all. My better sense tells me to ignore this and move on, but if there's a possibility I'll play MGJ in the future, I'd rather have addressed this now than have it happen again. If I left anything out, or if I'm wrong about something, let me know. Otherwise, I've said everything I wanted to say.

I think she did complain about Platinum being dumb but then again, most people complain to me about Platinum being dumb lol I learned my lesson about wasting time with people on the net since the LIEUTENANT days. As far as help goes, I only provide it if someone asks me for it nowadays. I'm tired of having my words go through deaf ears (blind eyes?). If people don't ask for your help, then they probably don't want it and will feel insulted if you provide it.
