Hopefully (for those who care about story) their personalities would be expanded on the story through more background and character interactions, because right now they sound plain, lol. HumblePinecone Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm sure that Bang will have a more involved role in the story, what with the trip to Ikaruga, but I don't think that Bullet and Azrael will be "gag characters" per se. They seem serious enough, although the gag potential is always there (as it seems to be with all BB characters, minus Hakumen maybe)

Yeah, I remember thinking Ragna, Jin, Noel, and Rachel would all have really boring serious personalities before CT came out. Ragna turned out to be a loveable jerk with a heart of gold, Jin turned out to be NIIIII-SAAAAAAN, Noel turned out to be this whimpering sadsack (a bit of a disappointment that one. Tsubaki acts more like what I orignally expected from Noel), and Rachel turned out to be... Rachel. So yeah, I'm actually pretty positive I'll end up liking Bullet and Azrael to some degree. BB characters are always better on screen. that would be to funny xD I'm a little tired of tit jokes to be honest. But I'm resigned to them in BB. I'm 100% confident that the first conversation between characters that I come across when this comes out and I start up story mode will be about Noel's flat chest. I've got my facepalm preloaded. And also, she's flatter than him. Plus if we go by the official screens arcsys has released, then expect amane-bang, bullet-tager, and azrael-valk to have special convos. I'm betting azrael's story mode will involve him challenging what's left of the 6 heroes since he's looking for strong opponents

I mean, it's cool if Overdrive has invuln on it when you activate it, but I'm afraid it'll end up like MvC3 where the opponent can just activate theirs in response to get out of any ensuing punishment. well, if we're talking about character interaction speculation, then I'm waiting for noel to call amane a kindred spirit, then find out dude's just fabulous and not a chick. It's an Arcsys tradition.

While I do love Bang as a joke character, I do really hope this is true and he's more serious now, with Trinity tellin' him all sorts of goody info, his Nox, and the trip to Ikaruga, making him remain the goofy scruffy man who just ends up being blown up would irk me.
chaosbehemoth Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 hopefully Azrael has more depth to his character cause i like his look and the way he fight's, but if not then there's always jubei, manly(albeit a cat) and one of my favorite master type personalities ever, the awesomeness im hoping his character will have once he's playable is indescribable, also bullet forever, in fact if all goes well my cast of characters i play will be Jubei, Ragna, Bullet, Azrael, and Tsubaki, degree of use in that order

Hey, he held his own against boss Hazama in canon. Sure he ended up running away but it was actually played as a really smart thing to do. Which it was. He might still be his quirky self, but I think that yes he'll have a bit more of a real role in the story from here on out.

This thread seems to be going crazy, anyone have any idea of Azrael's health, he looks like a 11,500 at minimum if not as much as hakumen (12,000). And can anyone explain to me exactly how his drive works, as in this whole weak point thing. If he creates a lower body weak spot does that mean every time he goes for a low is does extra damage or is simply an unblockable? His fighting style also looks very plain, but very nice teleport-dashes. Amane has the most entertaining style of them all, but I haven't seen Bullet's grappler abilities besides her super(s).

Like Order Sol, Deathbriger and Hazama /joking i Actually think that they would pull something like they did with CT with Hakumen and Nu, where we wouldn't see the bosses until way latter, that is why they have not revealed the new "Mu" and the new "Nu/Lambda". Probably the new "Mu" would be Sasha/The Emperor, and the New "Nu/Lambda" could be anything, maybe a revamped Nu + a new Murakumo unit, who knows.

Like "they were a pain in the ass for all the players, let's just delete them, and dance around a fire with a human sacrifice" I know it can't be, creating a character is too much work, but I won't be serene until they show them (nu in particular) Come on Arcsys, SHOW THEM!
