Moy_X7 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Her zoning is pretty situational given the nature of her items, can't really count her as a true zoner.
Starlight777 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 That's initially what I thought about her projectiles.
Yggjrasil Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 She can still toss items, regardless of what it is...
Afro-Demon Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 give me back ... the Sickle Storm.. that travels thru the screen and causes knockdown.. Agreed. I would take back full screen mix up as opposed to brain dead oki.
Tokkan Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Looked around on jBBS threads. Nu's OD is called "Unlimited Drive" (... really?), she also has a new move called Supra Rage (?! スープラレイジ). They also seem inclined to agree that Nu may have become a mode changing character. Mu's OD is called "Steinsgazer" and "Sword of the God Slayer" (her astral) apparently has a new visual. Also, I can confirm this fact: Noel has willingly become Mu again in an attempt to save Tsubaki.
SoWL Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) Translated all the stuff from that blurb here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?14675-BBCP-System-Changes-Movelist-Translations-and-Loketest-Information-Anything-Else-INFRACTION&p=1404662&viewfull=1#post1404662 So yeah, about that new Mu and Nu info: http://gamenyarth.blog67.fc2.com/blog-entry-12171.html - Both Nu-13 and Mu-12 are playable - Mu's Overdrive is Steins Gazer (Geyser?), it makes her lasers faster - Her AH got new animation - Story mode: Noel wishes to control the power of the Azure to save Tsubaki and turns into Mu thanks to Rachel's powers. She's still the same old Noel inside. - Nu's Overdrive is Unlimited Drive, which increases the amount of swords summoned (like in her Unlimited version?) - New move, Supra Rage. Nu does a backflip and strikes with her legs, making this a good anti-air move that also gives her some distance. - No new info about the loketests. Good to see that ASW are not that stupid. The Noble Clap Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I like how Saya has bigger breasts than Saya, who in turn has bigger breasts than Saya..
Starlight777 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Noel willingly becoming Mu again leaves me with the uncomfortable image of Mu with plain Noel's lines. On another note, thank the heavens that her AH's visuals got changed.
SoWL Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Oh yeah, almost forgot: this scan has a screenshot of Nu changing modes, but I can't figure out the text that goes with it. If anyone has better kanji-recognizing skills than me, please try translating it.
Bibiquadium Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Who cares about the story anyway, this is supposed to be a Fighting Game not a VN.
SoWL Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Who cares about the story anyway, this is supposed to be a Fighting Game not a VN. Sometimes people like to pretend that their character is not just a jumble of sprites and frame data.
_rFX Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Can't it be both? Just so long as their priorities are in order and the story doesn't screw over the gameplay(which it didn't). Can't believe anyone thought for a second that those 2 were getting scrapped. *shrug* I like how Saya has bigger breasts than Saya, who in turn has bigger breasts than Saya.. Well, ya see, what happened was... ...Continuum Shift.....one of the many possibilities.......Saya #3 drank more milk........Relius dabbles in plastic surgery when he's not at home being the worst family man ever..........aliens did it. ... ...... Who cares about the story anyway, this is supposed to be a Fighting Game not a VN
YoYoCheese Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Awesome. Noel being able to turn in to Mu at any time but without the mind control is exactly how I wanted them to do it. It's also good to see our murakumos back.
Legacy Edge Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 >Calling events you don't like stupid without having any knowledge of the circumstances surrounding them or the prior buildup leading to them. For crying out loud people, you can do better than this.....
Kyosuke Kagami Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Dammit, more yandere bitching. I am okay with Mu returning, though.
zephyr07 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Oh yeah, almost forgot: this scan has a screenshot of Nu changing modes, but I can't figure out the text that goes with it. If anyone has better kanji-recognizing skills than me, please try translating it. 戦闘モードを変更することで、使える技を変化するのが特徴だ (when she changes to battle mode, her specials change as well) basically, I think it means she can switch in and out of murakumo mode.
SoWL Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Well that doesn't make any sense at all. Still, thanks.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Didn't make sense to me either. Literally, I can understand this: Nu can go between her armored mode and her "armorless" (AKA intro) form. Wouldn't sound bad, but what would she do without her petals shit
zephyr07 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 eh, should have phrased it better. Nu looks like she has two forms, her murakumo form, and her pre-battle armorless form with that giant sword. If I had to guess 戦闘モード would be the murakumo mode, and going into it will alter her moveset
Chaoschao222 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 What exactly would giant sword form do.... aside from the implicit obvious...
WolfCrimson Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 That's a really big change to her playstyle. Edit: @Chao: EXCALIBUUUUR!!!
Starlight777 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Well I guess whoever wanted to play an armorless Nu got their wish. That's if this is what the whole mode change thing means anyway.
susano Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Oh happy daaaaays...-dances around- Well, that change mode is VERY interesting. She probably has an interesting moveset outside of her Murakumo Unit form. Damn, imagine the mindgames. o_o
Chaoschao222 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I do really wanna see Orgia-less Armor-less Nu in action, I really can't think of her doing much atm and wanna see what ArcSys' got in mind.
