Whaaaat, no fair. They can play up to 10 straight wins in this loketest now? >:c I had to get off after 2 games. Oh well. Looking forward to see any possible sneak footage or what the near final changes will be lol.

They won't be selectable in the inital arcade release so I guess they are holding off on testing them.

I find that being bit dumb, to be honest. I don't see no reason to havbe people get taste of them now even if they ain't going to be playable till some time after the arcade release.

Or they'll just hold a loketest when it's close to time to release them...

How often are loketest even held?

Would you rather have completely untested characters so people can whine

upon release? And time locks usually aren't that bad, you're looking at like a month tops.

Loctest are held at the discretion of the game's publisher.

That was sort of the point of that. This might be the last loketest for CP before its release so people might not be able to test Nu and Mu before they are unlocked unless there's another loketest before that where they can be played on.

^ Oh yeah. And that too. I hope they're as good as or better than the current tracks.

At least for the little that i heard of Tager's theme on one of the videos, i have a really good feeling that they would be asskicking

I still can't fathom why or how they managed to release 3 completely new characters but somehow they missed nu and mu.

There are a couple possible scenarios. What's done is done, though. (And what isn't done won't be done for a while, it seems...)

They sounded more promising, iirc. The new chords for them make the themes a lot more hype. I personally love the new MOTOR HEAD track. I haven't heard Taokaka's or Carl's yet.

it's very possible that they're simply not finished with mu and nu.

in p4arena arcade, labrys didn't have her axe gauge added in until close to her playable release. i also swear she didn't have that chain knuckle attack until much later too, but that might be due to the computer simply not choosing to do the attack.

Chain Knuckle I can't remember on, but it was shown in her profile videos before the Axe Gauge was placed in. Her not having the Axe Gauge you can see from her profile screenshots and videos on the JP site to this day (surprised they never updated some of those images).

Went looking for a bit. Apparently it has come to attention in this loketest that in CP each character has only 16 colour palettes and about 10 of them have to be unlocked with Platinum Dollars, so by default characters only have 6 palettes each. Apparently all the Zombie and Guilty Gear palettes are back, but the reference palettes from CS (Like Ragna as Gintoki, Platinum as Nanoha) are not.

So only the initial 6 are anything new, while the 10 "DLC" ones are things we've seen before? That's lame. Oh well good thing I actually use the gold, monochrome and zombie colors. I hope somewhere in those 10 they didn't leave out candy pink colors.

That's not what he said at all...

He said they have 6 palettes and the other 10 you have to unlock, not that the other 10 are ones that we've already unlocked. He only made mention of the zombie, GG palettes being back.

I don't remember saying the 10 extra are all ones we've seen before.

I presume, we get no videos this time?

Probably. I think Isuna lost interest in CP due to nerfs to Hakumen.

Sorry about that. The moment I read "10 extra colors for P Dollars" I assumed they would all be things like Gold, Monochrome and Zombie for everyone . :v:

Has anyone heard anything about the announcer voices yet? I'm curious how it will sound this time around and also what options we'll have to change it. I would love some male announcers. I would have happily laid down $20 for a voice like Tager's (or maybe bang or ragna).

Too early to know a thing about that since switching announcers is a console version thing, but at least the default announcer for CP appears to be competent.
