Valthazeryus Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 so does anyone know if Nu's new mode change (Phase lift i think its called?) has a fast start up? There hasn't been a loketest for them nor have they shown any preview gameplay footages yet.
FR05tB1t3 BOB Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 ok thanks guys, and i was just wondering because i play relius, so maybe if its slow enough and she tries it i could change the momentum of the match but idk, guess well just have to wait and see in "late november"
Halcyone3 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 ok thanks guys, and i was just wondering because i play relius, so maybe if its slow enough and she tries it i could change the momentum of the match but idk, guess well just have to wait and see in "late november" Highly doubt it would be so slow that it would largely influence momentum. I honestly don't expect it to be too much slower than litchi's staff placing. But meh, can't say for sure.
xntrikcat Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 What about those of us who actually have a really bad match up against her. Can we have tears? Seriously, fuck Mu. Haha, totally forgot about Arakune and how hilarious that matchup is.... Yeah, I do feel bad for you guys, unless ASW somehow changes the dynamic drastically.
Litherain-XIII Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I could imagine lambda's phase change to be as long as relius's Led Ley at best or faster.
Zuranamee Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 God forbid they make the change animation based off her taunt...
Chaoschao222 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Well it looks like the same animation, though it's more than likely not going to share its length.
jak d ripr Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Indeed Bullet is a grappler, apparently her Drive was originally intended for Tager but was scrapped. She's a very mobile grappler since her Drive generates a ring (which starts off pretty small but expands as it's held) around her and if the opponent is in range she'll zip at them and preform her strike, which then allow her to combo afterwords. While in her "Heat Up" state the ring will begin at a much larger expansion and some of her moves will have additional properties. Personally the character I'm most interested in due to the speedy offense, it will be interesting to see how she develops in the later stages of the meta game. Well maybe ill give her a try since tager has been all kinds of disappointing, both aesthetically and gameplay wise.
kenja0 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 God forbid they make the change animation based off her taunt... "Opening Folder in Windows Vista..."
Agni Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) Pssh, Nu totally runs on Linux. Anyway, has any info on Nu's mode change been revealed yet besides the name? Is it like Aigis (moves stay the same but gain properties) or is it more pronounced? Edited October 26, 2012 by Agni
Zuranamee Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Pssh, Nu totally runs on Linux. Anyway, has any info on Nu's mode change been revealed yet besides the name? Is it like Aigis (moves stay the same but gain properties) or is it more pronounced? Everything is speculation at this point I believe, though one of the translations said it changed her specials IIRC
Agni Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Ah, okay. At this point I'm just glad that I can play as my cute robo-girl again.
suna19 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 it wouldn't surprise me if supra rage was only available in one mode
Circuitous Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 hey remember when I said this thread wasn't for wishlisting or speculation? That's actually still true! Not sure how you guys forgot so easily.
Vulcan422 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Or we could use the group function for once. Since character generals have moved there why not do that for this?
Starlight777 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Or we could use the group function for once. Since character generals have moved there why not do that for this? I like this idea expect for the fact I forget the group threads exist from time to time.
TekkamanArk Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Since this is a general discussion page for Chrono Phantasma, I feel this would be the correct place to say this. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong however, and i'll gladly change this. Out of the new characters, I am the most hyped for Azrael, followed by Bullet, with Amane being the least interesting of the new 3 to me. However, I do not actually dislike Amane, he's simply the least interesting of these 3 to me. I certainly prefer Amane to the likes of Taokaka or Hazama in terms of the gameplay i've seen so far.
SolxBaiken Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Well there' not much time left, with November right around the corner, at least we'll have match footage to go over.
Starlight777 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 The sooner BBCP releases, the sooner this thread can fade away lol.
SolxBaiken Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Nah it won't fade, it will just serve an actual purpose
SolxBaiken Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 They've been saying "sometime in November" for the past couple of interviews.
NeoStrayCat Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 They've been saying "sometime in November" for the past couple of interviews. Then what was the point of releasing it this Winter instead of Nov. just to get things done fast, but we'll see...
SolxBaiken Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) I'm just relaying what they've relayed so far, but in the recent Famitsu article they stated "sometime November" and it looks like they've completed a bulk of their work EDIT: Even the main site is listing "late November" Edited October 28, 2012 by SolxBaiken
Tokkan Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) "Late November" was the release window reported by Famitsu on the 18th (in the very article they posted the OP movie, even). This was later confirmed by Arc themselves on the 25th on the actual official BlazBlue website. http://blazblue.jp/ Notice how on the front page it now says "Expected Release in Late November 2012". And yes, I know it says "operation", not release. Release is easier to understand than "Begins Operation". Edited October 28, 2012 by Tokkan
