Well, given that AC+R is supposed to be in arcades late Sept, it doesn't seem like GG is really taking a backseat or anything to p4a/bbcp. I just hope we get AC+R to consoles quickly lol.

Well but that's and old game, sure they need to put sometime to rebalance it and add stuff, but a new GG with new sprites, it will take sometime to do and probably will need a big part of ASW staff to work on it.

After reading all the interview info (awesome, by the way), suddenly I'm getting this feeling that Kokonoe is going to be one of the bosses in some form.

The last of my videos wont be up until Sunday, as I am on vacation and have no access to the video files.

I'm not sure whether to be hyped or not for BBCP. Hakumen is destroyed and Tagers collider seems to have changed too much. So maybe I must change characters I play.

Maybe it is just because I joined up in CS2 and it is too much change for me. I didn't experience the CT to CS transition. : /

In an interview with Famitsu, Mori confirms that Blazblue Chronophantasma is not the end! Chronophantasma will focus on the six heroes and the people in the past.

M: Azrael has been sealed by the “Sector Seven” organization that Kokonoe and Tager belong to. Since he doesn’t differentiate between friend and foe while enraged, he has put a limiter on himself. Also, since he’s a battle maniac, he doesn’t care about winning or losing in a fight. He’s quite troublesome to deal with for everyone involved (laughs). Naturally, among the existing characters, he has a deep relation with Tager and Kokonoe. By the way, since this installment revolves around Sector Seven a lot, the Sector Seven characters now take a much bigger role in the story. Ah, I almost forgot to say how amazing Yasumoto-san’s voice is, do look forward to listening to it.

So, he's a berserker and not a sociopathic soldier. Fine, whatever.

M: Well, she’s quite large-breasted, isn’t she? (laughs) Jokes aside, she’s based on Tager’s initial design that we didn’t use: “You can throw your enemy by pressing the D button”.

I: Though she doesn’t look like one, she’s actually a grappler with strong throws, isn’t she?

M: She’s not simply about throws, more about “Strike throws” that stun the enemy when you hit with them. You quickly throw the enemy and go for a combo right away.

I: Can you escape throws in the middle of a throw combo?

M: You cannot. However, since it’s a strike throw, you can block the initial strike. I think that, out of all the new characters, Bullet is the easiest to play. Not only does she have the strike throws, but she also has a projectile, so the overall balance is pretty good.

Gotta love that concept, though.

I'm excited for a whole new slew of backgrounds -- and themes! I'll be strangely sad if none of the old ones are selectable anymore though, haha.

I think mori's comment could possibly imply you can unlock Mu-12 after playing story?

I don't mention Lambda since I think Nu-13 will be the boss character Mori mentionned.

Kinda upset that Mori didn't go through with the whole "redesign Jin" bit, would've been cool too see it

Also focusing on the past I can still hope fire my broodedge.

Would've been fun to see a Jin redesign I guess, but I really liked Mori's answer. Jin just doesn't give a care. He'll go on wearing what he wears, and no one can tell him otherwise!!

I knew Bang would have a bigger part in the story. Excellent. And Azrael is supposed to be like Hakumen... that weak point thing reminds me of Arakune though.

I liked the Jin answer too, taking into account the character's personality when designing the sprite. Well, that makes sense.

Also Ragna has always been boring and not main char material for me. If he were the badass comic relief, it'd be better.

Heck, I'd pick Noel over Ragna, as much as I dont like her.

Also I hope Bang gets his Astral changed, so it now looks like something taken from 80s shows. I dunno...if his weapon thing is called Hou Yoku Rettenjou, he should make more references to shit like Saint Seiya or even Hokuto.

I somehow couldn't agree more.

Anyway, is the whole ''Strike Throw'' concept new or did it appeared in previous games (like a King of Fighters or a *insert game name here*)? Because honestly, when it comes to grapplers, Bullet will obviously succeed where Tager will always fail, in my opinion.

I have seen some moves in KoF that can be called "strike throws"; Kyo and Iori's come to mind and I guess Blue Mary is another example as they had grappling techniques that could be blocked as they started with a hit instead of a grab. In fact the way they describe Bullet reminds me female grapplers from KoF

what :psyduck: No such thing. KOF lets you combo throws (as long as there's a hit confirm), but the shit Bullet does is far from that. In this case, IMO the closest thing you could expect in KOF would be Maxima's old 236+P x3 shit
