what :psyduck: No such thing. KOF lets you combo throws (as long as there's a hit confirm), but the shit Bullet does is far from that. In this case, IMO the closest thing you could expect in KOF would be Maxima's old 236+P x3 shit

Erh, 2nd followup kinda works like a throw (it crushes you to the ground IIRC), but it's blockable.

That's why I said it's the closest thing.

aren't kyo's and flame iori's 63124 moves considered strike throws? It's a blockable hit followed by a "throw". Unless you mean a real grapple, in which case I guess only maxima has one

There's this quote from the Mori interview:

"Well the story has moved on, so Mu and Lambda isn't there. Well, if you want to know what happened to them, play some story mode after the arcade release."

But that's only referencing story. Whether they remain as playable characters remains an uncrackable mystery!!

For my money I don't think they're going to let the Nu moveset/sprites go to waste. I feel the same way about Mu, though somehow she feels slightly more expendable.

I say this regenerated Nu-13 shit from BBCS' story mode will just be assigned a new Murakumo number (AKA Phi-14) and will be used as a sub-boss, working like Lamby but with even crazier aggressive zoning shit.

Coz... you know, Murakumos as final bosses are so BBCT :kitty:

Dunno how they'd justify Mu. Maybe she'll just be an "extra" char with no story?

Give me my Mu... can't understand, if Mori trolls us with his line, or they won't be there for real... Maybe he could say something like 'mu and lambda's styles will remain', but just wasn't going to reveal extra characters to make it a surprise later

Story shit never prevented us to get "dead" chars in other franchises.

Well... Kliff and Justice did vanish in Guilty Gear X on account of being dead. They did come back as unlockables in GGXX though. (And, of course, now they've since been reintroduced as balanced characters)

I meant chars like the NFT (KOF), lol Gen (SF4), Ukyo (well, SS storyline is confusing as heck, so...) and etc.

They can just make up a stupid excuse and she'd be featured (maybe with a diff name... like Phi-21? :kitty: ).

But yeah, I don't think we're going to be out our resident robot lady -- one way or another. Just sayin' it wouldn't be a completely unprecedented move for ArcSys. Still, I doubt it. She's way too popular.

Also Ragna has always been boring and not main char material for me. If he were the badass comic relief, it'd be better.

Heck, I'd pick Noel over Ragna, as much as I dont like her.

But...He is the bad@$$ comic relief. Did you not play his story in CS? It consisted of him pretty much being chewed up till the "True Ending."

How can you be a producer of video game, come to public and say "Sorry guys, but the character that you've played and trained hard for 2 years is not in this game anymore, so you can f**k off and find another game or other char" because it feels just like spit in the face. It is not the right way to attract old players to the new game, right?

Strike throws sound like MBAACC's Satsuki or KoFXIII's Vice. It's a throw that can be blocked, or, more according to gameplay mechanics, a move like any other except it throws your opponent around. I think there's nothing more to it.
