Anyone whining about BB's music should just frigging compose their own shit

That's a really poor argument, lol.

Is there anything you like about the game?

Here's a better argument, then:

If you hate the game's music, go play other music and mute it. The game has a volume option for sound, music, and system voice.

You can always train with an i-Pod.

It doesn't actually bother me while I'm playing (same for P4A soundtrack, which I've despised ever since P4 :/)

If the music is bothering someone whilst playing they aren't focusing on the game enough, imo. As for actually listening to the soundtrack itself, it's bland and nothing really stands out, except for a couple tracks (stuff like Alexandrite). I would've liked if the soundtrack had more unique stuff but apparently ASW isn't down with that, maybe the alleged remixes will fix that. :toot:

Why is everybody talking about the BB music? Lol. Did something other than the tracks being remixed get announced?

Everybody is talking about the music like it affects the tierlist or something. Does Active Angel make Tager S-tier or something?

imo though it would be weird if ASW decides to compose different genre of music compared to what they have now

I think I like 3, maybe 4 songs from bb. The rest are kinda sub-par, but meh. The opinions of a music student mean nothing.

They only mean as much as someone feels like making them. I've seen a bunch of creative writing instructors who don't know jack about making a decent story despite being allowed to teach it.

I hope in the future, they put other new interesting characters in. It would be kind of cool to see them implemented in from the reject concept design sections, too.

Like Bullet, reminds me of this girl from the CT concept design reject section.

Harpy girl? she's more of a canned design for Valk I reckon

Yeah the character designs for the 3 new newcomers were done by the artist who previously drew the CS chara art

so him and Mori pretty switched jobs for BBCP

Pretty much this. No hints of these people beforehand or why they're involved at all. I'm not totally flabbergasted by new characters, as Circuitous seems to have thought I said, but it just seemed odd that EVERY new character came totally out of the blue. No Jubei, no Saya, no Phantom, no Nu/whatever it was that was hinted at at the end of CS, no Tenjo's son(unless one of the new guys turns out to be him). I wouldn't put it past them to have some of those come out as DLC(or be an unlockable boss), though.

Like Mori said in the interview, the new characters have been made to make an impact on the story. Making old characters playable does not influence the story in any way, it just gives people the idea of how they actually fight (and, of course, makes their fans cream all the pants in the nearest vicinity). The more I think about this approach, the more I like it: rather than using their old ideas, they actually come up with the new ones, which can lead to even more new ones.

When I said what I said, I didn't mean to imply I didn't like Alexandrite as it is, in fact Alexandrite is one of my favorite songs in any game ever.

But the fact that I love it so much, I'd like to hear it be remixed, officially. Even if it means the original version isn't in ChP, though I'd prefer it was.

Yeah I hope they include the old themes so you can select them manually.

It would be cool if they included an unlockable option which changes the default themes back to the old ones so you don't have to select them yourself every single time.

It'd be nice to see character specific language settings, but not gonna hold my breath. Also a rematch button, who decided no more games should have that?

I have no idea. I was just complaining about this the other evening. Rematch button should be in every game, along with Skullgirls' "Tournament mode" where you have to hold a button to pause.

Anyone know if Phalanx cannon is as fast as Spark bolt?

Hope to see that they will fix the combo system in the next loketest

After reading a few thread of some character it seem that his/her combo is dead now eg.Tager

I love how the game is faster now but nerfing the combo is way too boring, just make the combo route the same but faster in output sound more hardcore for me.

Is not the combo system what they should fix, but the normal/special properties of the characters.

Also, this is the 1st local test, they usually make a lot of drastic changes in the first one to test waters

They need not to destroy Haku J2A, 6D and Tager AC and I am happy.

If Hakumen is too strong, nerf him, don't destroy him. >_>

I mean, I don't know about how they did the super nerf to Makoto but, my friend plays Tsubaki and what they did with her was lowering the overall damage and removing frame advantage. They did not completely destroy every single of her combos, right? : [
