well i hope if he do plans to die its only temporarily and during the time of his death he meets Bloodedge or somthing and they fight and bloodedge tells him wat he truly is but you never know ragna death might be the only way for them to escape the time loops and knowing rachel might help him during the events and a plan to bring him back so in the mean time during ragna death Amaterasu might truly awaken since ragna is the origin that caused everything to begin with

since Celica making a apperance and saya a playable character on the ps3 this story is a perfect chance for bloodedge to make apperance on the console too and face ragna

hopefully i cross my finger to this lol but i doubt it will happen :(

That sounds like an ending to a cheap JRPG. Which means it's likely to happen in BB's story.

I significantly doubt Ragna will die, and if he does "die" it will be highly ambiguous and there will be elements that suggest he's not actually dead.

In other words, he will be "Only Mostly Dead"

Just pure speculation here, but I reckon Ragna "dying" has something to do with the events in Phase Shift 4 in the part where Bloodedge was somehow able to return then disappear together with Rachel, and that Bloodedge is the present time Ragna somehow able to return to the past.

I think it's relevant

Now if only I can read Kanji then I might have a crack at translating it :V

I kind of want him to get killed, I want to see what they do with him after they "kill him."

That picture of Bloodedge and Rachel is the reason why I think they will bring Bloodedge back to replace current "dead" Ragna.

One problem: He's wearing the jacket like P0 Ragna. Why would present day Ragna wear it like that? From the one glimpse we get of him without his jacket in CS, he doesn't wear those bindings that he wears in P0 either. But the whole sequence seems bizarre. I think any explanation is gonna be like whuhhhh?

They probably have something to do with the Azure Grimoire. As a young man, Ragna wears a long glove with different bindings on his right arm. They completely cover up his Azure Grimoire. Although, the bindings he wears in Phase 0 don't actually cover his Azure Grimoire--take them off and you can see the sleeve of his right arm beneath them...so they're kind of pointless. They're probably just there to make his design cooler.

I'm more bothered by how P0 Ragna never puts his damn jacket on properly. It just hangs off half his body. Looks bad.

All we can really do now is play the waiting game :/

Also Ragna's appearance maybe Rachel's doing to make him more believable to be Bloodedge.

Damn BB and it's story >.>

I always thought it was because his arm had transformed into a black beast arm. So it was harder to fit in the jacket's sleeve.

Maybe it became this way when Celica tried to heal his arm.

It also seems that the bindings are covering his gloves and the red orb.

His arm became basically just extra weight.

Makes me wonder how his gameplay would be like.

I wonder - how would life-link crap work if you kill both people, and then drag one of them wia "ChronoPhantasma" nonsense back? Does it count for life-link "atleast one should be alive"?

ok enough ragna death theories lets just drop it till the console version is out and move on

Okay...um, so sorry if a silly question, but who is this Kagura guy/girl/being Tsubaki mentions?

Look in the pictures of P0. It's normal and relatively human-shaped (the fingers are clawed under the gloves, but not much more than that) except when he regains the use of it. He could easily maneuver it through the sleeve if he just used his other arm or asked Celica...

@Tong: Yes, they cover most of his gloves and the red gem. There are a few pictures of P0 Ragna in the CSSMC and it's easier to see that then.

@AT: You create a time paradox.

P0 Ragna isn't nearly as cool as Baiken.

@NovaFortuna: Colonel Kagura Mutsuki, the Black Knight. They're involved in the uprising in the NOL.

I personally think that the reason why Bloodedge wears those binds is probally because his Azure is in so bad shape tht it handly keeps itself together and looks totally ruined.

I like that I can see the bindings at least. Reminds me of Vash the Stampede. Coolest character from one of the most overrated animes I've ever watched.

Dunno why, but I always thought that if Bloodedge were a playable character separate from Ragna, he would play like ABA somehow. Slow and gimpy normally, then maybe a move that triggers his Black Beast mode or something. No basis for it though, just thought it seemed cool.

I don't think Bloodedge will become a playable characters, except if you look at his condition if he going near Celica, but i think he will become a 2 stance character normal stance and reaper stance and he will have a gauge that will fill everytime

you hit your opponent with your drive and if the gauge is full he will automatically change into reaper stance where he can access more super move and using his scythe, anyway this is just my though about bloodedge fighting style and drive and i really don't understand why everyone always saying that BlazBlue story is insane while it still make sense if we think about it.

That's not really that different from what I said if you look at ABA as having 2 stances lol. I don't really care if he's playable or not though, just thought the idea would be cool.

I was thinking if we know anything about the Mutsuki family that Kagura is from? I can't shake the feeling that that character is going to be really important because they have a title lol.

Makoto talks about them a little in the beginning of her story mode. Says that they've "gone native" in their handling of Ikaruga and now sympathize with the Ikarugan refugees more than the Library. There's been tension between them and the rest of the NOL, and now it's finally manifesting in the form of an uprising.

I just want to imagine a little different style and about Mutsuki family,i think someone said in a forum (i don't remember what's the name of the forum) that Mutsuki family is the strongest out of the duodecim familly.

Isn't this like Izayoi's gameplay? Doesn't sound like a bad idea though.

Their thought to be the strongest Duodecim Family, but there in hot water with the NOL because they've been mouthing off to them after being placed in charge of the ruins of Ibukido. (At least according to Makoto in her CSE Story. But she's probably a reliable source with information like that since she's a spy for Sector Seven, and a former intel officer for the NOL.)
