block-low, mash 2p if they rush and switch to high block if they overhead.. then far s if they stay still. but gold-burst>IK activation>IK on whiff is clearly the way to play GG.

I do what any respectable hos player does: Chose a direction to jump and start mashin' that jp. In all seriousness it mainly has to do with my opponent. If it's some one with a move like test 6k or venom 6p/h then usually I just slowly advance in or jp and then dash back or forward depending on what happens. If they don't have anything fast and long ranged, then just dash momentum 2h or 2d for the ch, sometimes f.s. Jumping back is safe vs like every one but axl so thats another good way to start the round. I used to think it was super important to mindgame a hit into the start of the round but I have since come to realise that establishing a neutral situation or something slightly in your favor is much less risky and still rewarding in most cases.

As a A.B.A. player I usually back step to take a bloodpack, or ken'in (236+P) to get close, Throw, and take a bloodpack/ketsugou(63214+hs). Depending also on the opponent's starting move the previous round.

a lot of screaming and feces slinging. seriously though, i dont think there is any single answer to this. it really varies from player to player vs player to player and situation to situation.

Usually P Dandy into Crosswise, but it can differ depending on opponent. For Pot for example, I try not to risk, and backdash/jump(lolheatknucklewhut).

Your friends cant punish you consistantly starting rounds with crosswise????

Of course I don't use it ALL the time, because it's, as you said, punishable. I play only online, and I'm rarely being challenged by same person, so usually first round starts like that.

Fart in my opponent's face. Seriously speaking, it depends on the match. As Anji, 6S is good for Order Sol, Venom, Potemkin and others (walk in a bit and 5P can also be useful for Pot). For others that give too much of a risk (Testament, Slayer, etc), IAD back or just block. If I REALLY know my opponent well and know that they have an itchy trigger finger and toss out an attack, HS Fuujin catches them.

for example :S with Ky... 669 j.K combo I dont know why but i have get great results from that. sol: 5 HS (if is counter you get a very great free combo) venom: HS carcas raid, 2S. may: agaist johhny I love make 3K for make them miss his tk essenga and later I make a grab LoL, defend. if I play agaist testament I always defend, and agaist baiken i wait for make them a grab, they usually start with 63214 K.

Where is that Toki opens up with a surprise attack to kill video..?

I lie and wait. And when my Johnny sense tingles, I'll stuff them with a 6P, 5K, or coin. If nothing else will work, backdash.

It really depends on who I'm playing against and if they have any moves that will outright beat my f.S. Because if they don't, 60% of the time I will f.S. The other 40% of the time I'll just do whatever thing comes to mind in the spur of the moment.
