Master Of Chaos Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Hopefully, Ragna & Hazama's fight at the altar is beautifully animated. Or Hazama could just one shot Ragna with Ouroboros again. I would go for that, it was hilarious. Real talk, anyone dying to see if they have Hazama do Serpant's Infernal Rapture?
Starlight777 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Hopefully, Ragna & Hazama's fight at the altar is beautifully animated. You know it's just gonna be full of QUALITY Terumi faces instead. You should quit being hopeful now lol.

Real talk, anyone dying to see if they have Hazama do Serpant's Infernal Rapture? Me. I want to see both Ragna's reaction to it and Hazama's screaming. Because Hazama's screaming Houtenjin is hilarious.

You should quit being hopeful now lol. I expect the same scene where he'll up having the "Lies" scene and the awakening of a certain character. But yes, expecting more Terumi faces full of such quality in the weeks ahead, oh yeah, and the fight(s) too.
Myoro Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Terumi's derp faces are like snowflakes, no two are the same, yet they are all beautiful.
Justice7541 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I wonder if Hazama ever takes advantage of Tsubaki's gullibility. Sexually I mean. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
LionHeartx Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 If anything needs to happen during the alter fight its 6A (or 3C) xx Houtenjin then Jakou while Ragna is falling. Then again if we go by the Ragna vs Jin fight that will kill him like 3 times over.
Suzaku Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 About episode 4 suddenly getting good, I figured its because they really REALLY wanted to get CT out of the way. [...] i wonder, if Alter Memory does well can we expect a season 2 to that covers chronophantasma? kagura's antics are just begging to be animated. This is purely speculation, but they might have also rushed the first three episodes to get the series on air before Chronophantasma went on sale. And, for what its worth, the anime did seem to contribute to a pretty big spike in sales compared to the previous entries in the series. As for a possible season 2, with only 12 episodes slated, I don't expect to see a direct continuation (which would be typical, if this were a typical 24-episode season), but they could always follow it up with another season or series in the spring or next fall. I'd love it if they did a 12-episode adaptation of the Phase novels next year, then an adaptation of Chronophantasma timed with the release of the next game, and then a finale season to cover the events of the final game. Definitely wishful thinking.

And, for what its worth, the anime did seem to contribute to a pretty big spike in sales compared to the previous entries in the series. But all Fall shows start in early October, why would they have to rush anything to get it out before BBCP? And the announcement was made back in June/July, so it's not like they didn't have enough time to finish the first couple of episodes.
Zazz Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Hopefully, Ragna & Hazama's fight at the altar is beautifully animated. honestly, with how its fairly obvious that noel is getting all the animation budget (see bolverk summoning sequence), i'd bet that its the fight with Mu that will be AMAZING i expect lasers everywhere

RifleAvenger Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 How sure are you 'bout that? LOL Seeing the CS1 animations always make me chuckle. Inb4 Gonzo scenes from CS1 are just copy pasted into Alter Memory.
Shinhwa Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I am glad the animation style changed from the previous games as they sucked lol
Volt Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I am glad the animation style changed from the previous games as they sucked lol CT wasn't that bad. but the CS series...
Shinhwa Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 CT wasn't that bad. but the CS series... Oh yeah I should have been more specific. CS was bad. CT wasn't that bad compared to CS.
SoWL Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Another week, another episode. - Tager is finally introduced to the viewer and promptly dropped onto Kagutsuchi. - HOT SPRINGS EPISODE! Ragna and his harem are teleported to the hot springs, where everyone has a good old gag ending moment. - Ragna lashes out on Noel for her usage of Bolverk and associations with Saya. - Rachel reminisces about Ragna getting his Grimoire. - Ragna picks up Platinum and gets to meet all three people inside of her. - The episode ends with Kokonoe teleporting Lambda Lambda to Ragna's location. Weird gag route aside and Trinity being introduced way too soon, I didn't have any qualms about this episode, I guess.
Shinhwa Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Finally Lambda appears <3 YAY And after re-watching the Calamity Trigger True story (in the game), I really do feel they totally rushed the Calamity Trigger chapter for the anime. I really don't know how the anime staff planned out the series, but 3 Episodes for Calamity Trigger and 9 for Continuum Shift seems a bit too big for the gap... =A= Although Continuum Shift has a more longer story compared to Calamity Trigger...
raziel12 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 to me the whole damn anime story moving kinda fast but i still enjoy watching it
Shinhwa Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 to me the whole damn anime story moving kinda fast but i still enjoy watching it Maybe they wanted to add in the other characters' route in the episodes?
NeoStrayCat Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Well, Ep. 5 keeps things going smoothly, pretty much what SoWL said, its good, also, I was expecting "Hype Dog" in the episode where the town is at, but nope, oh well.
Shinhwa Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I am going to guess they are going to totally skip what happened with Lambda and Kokonoe during Lambda's prologue... ah well...
Shadow Draygon Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Obligatory hot springs episode. I also like how Ragna went from "yeah I guess Noel is all right" to "BITCH GET OUT OF MY FACE" in a split second. No one likes Noel.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 well that was a nice break in the first part, but it seems we're beginning Ragna's CS path proper.

I also like how Ragna went from "yeah I guess Noel is all right" to "BITCH GET OUT OF MY FACE" in a split second. No one likes Noel. Yep, No one likes Noel. (Hence why some fans think her position as a heroine is pretty much flowing away) I kind of feel like the hot springs episode was a total fanservice episode =w=;; A bit of a waste of episode if you ask me... =_= They could have extended Calamity Trigger instead of doing some comedy episode kind of... And isn't the meeting with Platinum kind of rushed?
